Source / link plz...If true I would suspect he is the victim of contact tracing like the coach of Columbia City was last week.  If actually positive the impact would be different / broader

Totally agree.

It's crunch time for those of us who are "independent" of the situation.  I have a personal experience at this point, and its a concern.

I am struggling with both officiating, and the ability to forgo our crew's exposure to anyone who has had contact with anyone else with COVID.

Coach Mannigel has not tested positive and is in quarantine because of contact tracing.

Is Concordia considered a part of FWCS?  Hoping they will still host a limited amount of fans at home games?

This was not a Summit Athletic Conference decision it was a Fort Wayne Community Schools decision to not have fans. Concordia is an independent parochial Lutheran school and therefore does not need to follow Fort Wayne Community Schools guidelines. As of last night we will still be hosting fans. Could this change later in the week? In these times anything can change.

"Rumor" is that Allen County will be under a county-wide edict banning fans later in the week.

Hence the game that Homestead was hosting vs. Warsaw was moved (LAST NIGHT) to Warsaw.

Really?  Interesting to know that.  I wonder if Luers will move to Eastside.  Doubt that!

Why would you give up that advantage if you don't need to?

Perhaps you should have a 'Coke and a smile' and bring it down a few notches....

Sorry it just sounded personal when you said "when it comes to Luers."

Nope.

Some schools' fan travel more than others. There's no way the Knights would gain anything going TO Butler.

Luers parents would “gain” the opportunity to watch what may be their sons’ last game.

I am pretty sure that those same Luers parents (coaches and players) aren't expecting to lose.  Besides, it works both ways...Eastside wouldn't have fans either.

Of course they dont expect to lose but it will be a V tight game especially with the injuries on the Luers side.

Homestead apparently thought allowing fans / parents to see the game was more important than home field.

That's a heck of an observation there "Sherlock"

Kinda takes us back to the original tenor of MY point.. Some schools travel better than others.

No disrespect to Luers. But they honestly fall in the lower portion of SAC schools whose fans 'travel.

Whereas: Homestead; Carroll; Dwenger and Snider (Concordia not withstanding) seem always bring a dedicated number of fans on the road.
