CFP 2020/21 Who is in?

Irishman

In my opinion you have

1. Bama

2. Clemson

3. Ohio State

4. Texas A&M

Had Notre Dame been competitive in the ACC Title game, they may have been able to hang on to the 4 spot. As @temptation said in the ND thread, there are just 3 teams in the top tier (the 3 I have ranked above). Anyone else is lucky to be close. The disparity in the number of 5 star recruits is obvious on this level. The rest are just scrambling for that top spot in tier 2.

And in college football WHEN you lose supersedes all.

Unless you’re Iowa State or Florida....

Eh, Iowa State got their “bad losses” out of the way early.

I am convinced that Florida did not plummet simply to maintain interest in the SEC title game.

This isn’t still about Indiana is it?

Indiana, Coastal Carolina, teams that were snubbed NY6 Bowls to teams with 3 losses.

This is what I don’t understand

notre dame  and Texas a&m already got blasted by Clemson and bama so why are they 4 and 5?

give cinncy a chance

also if you are truly doing the 4 best teams consider Florida and Georgia

Florida played bama tough as anyone this year and Georgia was without their starting QB in the beginning of the year.

I believe you forgot that Notre Dame also beat Clemson on November 7th.

IU was overlooked because, well they're IU I guess.  IU was more deserving that some who received NY6 bids

Didn't they have the selection show today?  Who are the 4 teams?

Bama vs. ND in the Rose Bowl @Dallas.  Man can California screw things up.  Doesn't look good for ND.  I want them to win, but I'll take Bama to name their score.

OSU and Clemson.  Clemson by name their score.

Bama vs. Clemson.

Bama by 10+.

I'll take Clemson over Bama. Trevor Lawrence is the best player in the country by far.

The Irish strategy of making the opponent overconfident is firmly in place.

Good strategy. Hope it works.

If recent CFP performances are any indication, it won't.

Love my Irish, but also a realist.

There is a HUGE talent gap between Bama/Clemson and the rest of all football playing teams except 30 of the NFL teams.
