WolvesOnTheProwl Posted September 20, 2020 Share Posted September 20, 2020 Kiser played great, got the game ball. Had 8 tackles or so and always seemed to be around the ball. My 2 takeaways from this game were 1. South Florida is really, really bad 2. The depth at Notre Dame has come so far, especially on defense. Had ND missed 7 or 8 guys the day before a game In years past it would normally be a scary situation. Bobref Posted September 20, 2020 Share Posted September 20, 2020 For the uninitiated, the “Buck” linebacker in ND’s defense is the inside linebacker who plays on the weak side. The Irish had to replace All American Drue Tranquil at that position. In the preseason, Kiser wasn’t mentioned in the top six candidates for that position, but has now apparently worked himself up to #3. Good for him.
