No Longer an Activist - Just a Fan. Thats what I am

Its become abundantly clear to me that maintenance of the status quo is the new mantra of the IHSAA, as well as the vast majority of fans, supporters, coaches, admins, etc.

Change is neither needed, wanted nor desired.

So Im cashing in all my activist chips at the casino cash station, and trading them out for fan chips, so I can enjoy the game like the rest of you and not concern myself with multipliers, contraction, realignments, reorganization, etc, etc, etc.

This rainbow trout will no longer swim against the current.  Getting too old and too tired for this.  Im going with the flow.

My two favorite schools are my alma mater Highland High School, and my daughters alma mater, Center Grove High School.

Ill be cheering and pulling for both, and enjoying the pureness and passion of and for the game, along with the rest of you.

There are no haters.  Apathy and a general lack of interest has set in.

Its one thing to preach to a crowd of non believers.

Its another to preach to an empty church.

The pews of our GID Cathedral stand empty.

I get it.  You should too.

There are basically 5 or 6 of us here who have created a circular firing squad.  What sense does that make?

Go Highland!   Go Center Grove!!  Its good to be a fan again.  😁

Explain?

What change is needed? High School football in Indiana is as advanced as its ever been.

Amazing what a good showing in the state tournament during a pandemic year brings out in people. I don't get it.

No changes are needed.

Competitive balance is perfectly aligned.  No need for multiplier or adjustments to SF

All conferences are in perfect alignment

All programs are 100% healthy and none in danger of contraction.

All classes are perfectly aligned and the system needs no tweaking or adjusting whatsoever.

The playoff is a piece of perfection and should not be changed.

All is good in the world of Indiana High School Football.  We should all just sit in a circle and join hands and be glad we have it so good.

Sorry to hear that.

I really enjoy the recruiting game.  Its the bridge from high school to college football, and I enjoy both.

here you one of highlands biggest wins, I believe whiting won the next year

I was coaching at Wheeler that year.  We played at Whiting.  That is one of those games that if there was just a bit more extra time, Whiting would've pulled out the win.

Please tell me you are doing the play by play on this video.  🙂

With all due respect to the Oilers, Highland has never had a big win over Whiting.  Highland is 4a.  Whiting is 1a.  Highland is expected to win and anything other than a win is a huge disappointment
