Hammond Central is looking for a game this week.

Bloomington South is looking for a game for week 8 The game needs to be home as it is set for our Senior Night. Please reach out to Head Coach Gabe Johnson if interested. gjohnson@mccsc.edu 812-606-0145

Heard from my son, who plays for Harrison, that Harrison will now play Hammond Central at Harrison.  Glad these guys could get together.  Don't know if HC has a JV, but I hope Harrison can get a JV opponent too.  JV's sitting on a one-loss season and only lost to Westfield by a single point.

To be clear, Hammond Central is looking for a week 8 game.

They are playing Morton this week (week 7)

Missed opportunity for Harrison and Eastbrook to play each other, would have been a good game. Hammond Central is terrible, Harrison will win by 50+.

Would be an interesting match-up with Eastbrook.  I think, at this point, Harrison's happy to be playing somebody as opposed to sitting home Friday night.  They were originally scheduled to play cross-town, sister-school, McCutcheon for "The Sword."

Harrison plays Hammond Central in week 8.  Harrison is still looking for week 7(tomorrow) game as far as I know.

Harrison is scheduled to play Kokomo in Week 8 and Richmond in Week 9.  Their website is now showing Hammond Central as their opponent for 10/1 (and parents have been sent e-mail looking for folks to take tickets and man concessions for a home game ... the original game against McCutcheon was supposed to be an away game, not a home game).

This game will not do anybody any good.  Harrison would be better served having an extra practice instead.

Props to the HC coach.  He is apparently not afraid to take his team and play someone good.  He's done it two weeks in a row now.  Unfortunately, they just don't have the players to compete.

I don't know why the Eastbrook game didn't come to fruition, but that would've been a more competitive game and actually an interesting one for fans.

Please start a different topic to continue this conversation about who isn't scheduling who and why. This has been hashed out enough here. This topic is supposed to just focus on canceled and newly scheduled games........thanks

Bloomington South's AD, J R Holmes, said today (Monday) that they are still looking for a game to replace Hammond Morton and they would continue looking through Weds.

They had better hope, pray, and beg that Madison has an issue of some sort.

We reached out to Eastbrook, they had some injuries and did want to build on those injuries. Coach said if it was a couple of weeks ago they would have loved to play us.

Just happy we got a game after McC had Covid the day before the sword game

It's official that South will have a bye week after being unable to replace Hammond Morton on their schedule. They will also lose their Senior Night game because of it, with their final game of the regular season at Chatard. Here is the tweet on it.
