  It’s pretty incredible

Why? Historically Jasper has done well against the SIAC teams. At least going back to 1994 (easy to find records going back to 1994 on Harrell's site). They are :

19-8 vs. Memorial

8-4 vs. Central

5-2 vs. Harrison

5-1 vs. Bosse

2-0 vs Mater Dei

1-0 vs. North

5-5 vs. Reitz

0-1 vs. Castle

Westfield takes down 5A #2 Zionsville 42-21 at Zionsville. After building a 28-7 halftime lead which should have been 31-7 (missed close FG), Westfield had a sloppy 3rd quarter with two turnovers that resulted in 14 Zionsville points. They righted the ship in the 4th on the back of their Mr. Do Everything Michah Hauser, who had a 43 yard TD run, then a 95 yard fumbled interception return for a TD late in the game. QB Maximus Webster added a 83 yard TD run. Next week the Rocks return home to play a much improved 2-1 Noblesville.

It will be interesting to see if the move to the SIAC will result in more post season success.  Since the state title season, Jasper has only won 4 sectionals.
