NobodySaurus
Adams 17, Goshen 10. Adams seemed to call it a season after beating St. Joe in Week 4, but Goshen is so bad that I think they'll pull this one off. The Redhawks beat four really, really bad ballclubs to get to 4-5. KV 35, Riley 13. James Boyd among others might produce some flashy highlights and KV isn't exactly so superb, but the Cats still have too little to offer. Any idea if Coach Kinzie will be on the hot seat after this season? Logansport 24, St. Joe's 13. The Tribe have made great strides the past few weeks, but it won't be enough to extend the Witten era on ND Avenue, which I'm convinced will come to an end at this season's conclusion. New Prairie 39, Plymouth 3. Cougars have the perfect bounce-back opponent after their heartbreaking loss to Elkhart (fun fact: barring a massive upset, 2021 will be the first year that the Rockies failed to win a football game since the program's inaugural season in 1926. Not what we've come to expect from Coach Barron in Plymouth. Anyone following the NLC have an idea why the Rockies have been so down?) CMA 55, Clay 0. Do I really need to say anything? Lakeland 24, Glenn 23. Another season at Glenn fails to live up to expectations as the Lakers get by the Falcons in the opening round. Jimtown 27, West Noble 0. The Jimmies' quest to restore their football legacy continues for another week with an easy dub. Marian 35, Washington 10. Let's not jump the gun with the Knights as "sleepers" or even "spoilers" yet, Marian fans, they need to take care of business one week at a time. Mismatch, but the Panthers take advantage of a few Marian miscues to make the score somewhat respectable. Bremen 27, Manchester 9--Lions roll over yet another weak opponent to advance to the 2A sectional semifinal

sr1
We still need to raise over $1000 for the Gridiron Digest to cover this seasons bills. If you have not donated to become a booster now would be a good time.

Bobref
Did I just see that Elkhart set a home & home series with Carmel, starting next season? Kudos to Elkhart. Seems like they have decided to be a player.
LionKing
Adams at Goshen -- Goshen will keep it close early on, Adams pulls away late Riley at Kankakee Valley -- KV by 3 TDs St. Joseph at Logansport -- St. Joe can make this a game if they play defense like last week vs. Marian. Plymouth at New Prairie -- Plymouth's season ends thankfully for them. Culver Academy at Clay -- I got to hand it to those few Clay players that show up each week. Has to be difficult. Lakeland at Glenn -- Glenn by a couple scores West Noble at Jimtown -- Jimtown easily Marian at Washington -- Marian way too much for the Panthers. Bremen at Manchester -- Manchester will move the ball early and keep it close into the second half. Bremen wears down the Squires defense and takes control late. ASJCPUMA
Adams to run over Goshen eventually KV over Riley NP to put Plymouth out of their misery CMA over Clay - Will Clay field a team in 2022? Glenn because of the athlete who I hear is now a RB Jimtown Marian - Washington will not be able to handle Atkinson Bremen Logansport over SJ. - 2 years ago SJ destroyed the Berries. Last year Logansport ran all over SJ. SJ defense may keep it close but no offense will doom the Tribe

ASJCPUMA
I just drove by Clay Field. Clay had 15 players on the field. There were 4 fans in the stands on either side. Is it time to consider shutting the football program at Caly?

Bremen 27, Manchester 9--Lions roll over yet another weak opponent to advance to the 2A sectional semifinal Don't let Kankakee's record full you. They lost to a 1 loss Harrison...Hobart whose 7-3, Andrean 7-3, and Lowell 7-3 and Highland. Those are hard match-ups to overcome. Plymouth has a lower level problem. Seems like their youth programs are suffering a significant number drop. lol, Marian/Washington....how about them miscues. I'm no Knight fan but what game did you watch that gave you the impression that Washington would make this a game. Their offensive line was left on spin cycle last week staring into the backfield as Glenn had multiple tackles for losses on that high octane 5 play offense. It was over in the 1st quarter. You also haven't checked much tape on Glenn seeing as their Defense has allowed the 2nd fewest points in the entire NIC. Thats with Glenn never having their actual starters all playing together at any given point in the season. They have 3 season ending injuries (1 not related to football) dating back to week 3. Glenn rolled Washington and followed it up by rolling Lakeland. Lakeland who has heavily relied on their passing game threw 4 interceptions. They completed 3? short passes. Freshmen QB threw for 4TDS (would of had one running but it got called back) and Creed pounded it on the ground for the rest (also had 1 receiving TD) Jimtown seemed like they had some trouble with the Ligoneer natives. 21-16 at one point.
