Here are Massey's picks too.  I would bet the farm, back up the truck, & go all in on Mt Vernon NOT defeating "Reitz" tomorrow!  😜

Impressive! Mt. Vernon will be playing 2 games on Friday!! One at Enlow and one at the Reitz Bowl I am assuming! What is the traffic like Friday evening from Bosse to Reitz will they have time to warm up? 🤣😂

I reached out to Massey a week ago to let them know but nothing has changed.  Guess everyone is busy.

The real question could be that if Memorial wins state, will "Reitz" try to claim yet another mythical title? 🦄

Like MLB spring training, this is a split squad day for Mt. Vernon.

LOL @ Cathedral at 100%…never seen that before.

Actually, if you want to get technical, Cathedral hasn't had a home game since CYO Field closed in 1976.

It would be bad enough if Cathedral had to travel on a Friday, but this game will likely be over at halftime.

The Irish traveled to Castle for the semi-state last year.  Is that far enough for you?

Who is this Davis?

Great question!  It could be:

Jefferson Davis (former President of the Confederate States of America)

Ann B. Davis (portrayed spunky housekeeper Alice Nelson on “The Brady Bunch”)

David Love III (PGA golfer)

Gray Davis (former Governor of California)

Jim Davis (Muncie native and creator of Garfield)

Or Ben Davis (Railroad Executive) who got a stop on the railroad line. It became known as the Ben Davis stop which became the very small town of Ben Davis (lost to history). They opened a high school which became known as Ben Davis (which was named after the community). That's why "Davis" is not remotely the name of Ben Davis.

So it wasn’t for Miles Davis either?

Sweet…..an Ann B Davis reference.  She was also on The Bob Cummings Show.

You are misreading what I said. This game would never be a game, regardless of who traveled. New Albany making the long trip only makes it worse.
