Parke Heritage hires a winner

Recommended Posts

Not surprising as this has been in the works for a longer time than most would think.  It was pretty obvious that they were trying to force out their previous coach, John Batty, by some of the decision that were made during the season.

Exciting times in the Wabash River Conference! Welcome back Coach Moore! WRC has gained a couple of big time coaches in the last year with this plus South Vermillion hiring Barrett last Spring.

Hate to see him go, but wish coach Moore only the best.  Parke Heritage will be a good team right off the bat, and I'll say a powerhouse in the WRC within two years.

Happy to see Coach Moore back at the helm of a WRC school. Add flavor and good football to the mix. I think he makes all programs better by raising the bar. Love the WRC!

Wish him luck every week except when he plays the Navy and Scarlett team from West Lebanon!!

Nice to see him roaming the sidelines as the head honcho again!!

If the athletes from Turkey Run and Rockville stay, Moore is stepping into a great situation (as far as players are concerned).  Turkey Run is loaded with talent and Rockville has a few nice pieces to add to that.  It's been unfortunate that history predicates that TR might lose a few kids, but maybe the consolidation helps keep kids at "home."  Good luck to Coach Moore and PHHS.  The WRC has some great coaching staffs for 1A football!

Edit: and 3A with South Verm....

Didn't want to lump SV in with the hillbillies
