Elkhart Memorial leaves an opening in the NLC

Recommended Posts

With all the talk about Jimtown and those thinking their size is a detriment, do you think they will get an enrollment boost when Elkhart actually consolidates? I would think there will be a lot of Elkhart kids that will  look to leave either because they are against the decision, of because they do not want to be at a HS of over 3000 kids.

Not sure what the capacity at Jimtown is, but one would have to assume they will see a boost in enrollment when it all goes through

I think they will see an increase at Jimtown, Elkhart Christian, and maybe to a lesser degree, even Northridge.

I tend to agree with all that you mentioned, we share the border with Washington Twp, which is the town of Bristol and basically mostly hills/farmland.  A smaller (not small) more rural school might be more attractive than a mega school all the way across Elkhart (they're Central students now)
