My observation from the first couple of weeks: eventual Super Bowl champ will be the winner of the AFC championship game between Buffalo and Kansas City, just as the eventual MVP is between Allen and Mahomes.

Hard to argue that. I am leaning toward the Bills. They have been impressive.

This is an amazing stat. The Bears have the #2 rushing offense in the NLF with 560 yards. But, they have the 3rd worst offense in the league in terms of total yards. I don't care how bad the WR's and pass blocking are. How often Fields doesn't go through his progressions or misses open WR's in the limitied time he does throw the ball is very troubling.

Turned on Chiefs-Raiders in time to see how the NFL has ruined football, heard Troy Aikman's comments and turned it off. Tony Dungy and others have weighed in on how the NFL is ruining the game since. The game has become unrecognizable to me. Although I do not miss Jack Tatum paralyzing people, I do think we have lost a lot over the years with how the rules have absolutely neutered American tackle football.

The QB's need some protection, but not as much as they're getting nowadays.  And it seems that the rule isn't applied equally.

looks like it will get review after this season, whatever that means......

This!

I watched A LOT of NFL football Sunday, and there were harder hits on QB's that didn't get called than the 2 in question. We know why it was called with Brady. Last night was not such a flagrant pandering job, so I don't understand why they even called it.

Seems I am seeing a LOT of posts from friends that cheer for various teams that are talking about ugly wins. It seems there are 2 teams that are playing decent football; Buffalo and Philly. While the Giants and Vikings are 5-1, I don't think they look like dominant teams. There are just 3 teams with 4 wins. The Jets, Cowboys, and Chiefs. Just seems like sloppy play is running rampant this year. Multiple games have been downright ugly; unwatchable even. I don't think I can put my finger on any one thing; but feel there are multiple factors that go into this.

Eagles are running away with the NFC with 7 wins now. While the Vikings are right behind at 6-1. Game 1 was a game Green Bay could have won, and we see how bad they are. I am just not sold on them yet. They lead a bad division, something that Green Bay was able to do often. There are still 6 teams with 3 wins in the NFC, and 2 more with fewer wins. There were 11 teams 2 weeks ago with 3 wins, so only 5 teams have moved off of that lol. What is funny to see is that the Commanders are in last in their division at 4-4 and Atlanta is 1st in their division at 4-4 lol. The Niners are the only other 4 win team in the NFC.

In the AFC, I think the Bills are on a mission. There are 5 teams with 5 wins. KC may be the best in that group, but man, that loss to the Colts jumps out. 3 teams have 4 wins. There are 7 teams with 3 wins or less.

As I have stated, just a lot of average to below average play this season.

I like the Bills. Allen is a great competitor. The fan base is every bit as loyal as say Green Bay fans 🙂 ok, Bears fans too.  lol I would not be upset at all to see them win the Super Bowl.

Washington deserves last place if nothing else for their new horrible team name.  The USFL would have even rejected that one......
