FC wins 42-7 over Jeffersonville. FC probably could've hung 70 on them. Robertson and Kaiser are just on another level right now. 7 receiving TDs in the past 2 games. Kaiser could play for about any team in the State. Looking forward to seeing East next week.

So the HHC title will be on the line in two weeks. I’m excited for that.

I'm not convinced that FC is just going to show up in Columbus and walk out of there with some kind of easy win. That's going to be a tough game. If they come out not playing sharp, like the did in the 1Q tonight, East will take advantage.

Don’t know anything about Seymour’s football team other than have heard they have a good offense but defensively they can not stop anyone. So far their scores seemed to have indicated this. Is this true at all?

They can score fast.  The QB does a good job of putting the ball where only his receivers can catch it.  As fast as their O can score though, their D can allow scores.   I could be wrong, but I thought I noticed 3-4 of their O skills going both ways. 2nd half fatigue has to factor into some of their outcomes.

I thought that was a big reason why FC was able to come back and beat them. FC has more depth than Seymour. Coach Bragg plays a lot of players. He even put in a Freshman at RB last week who looked impressive and you pretty much never see a Freshman play Varsity at FC. He must be good.

Week 6 Picks

5A #9 Floyd Central (4-1, 2-0 HHC) at Columbus East (2-3, 2-1 HHC)

Jennings County (3-2, 0-2 HHC) at BNL (3-2, 3-0 HHC)

2A #1 Brownstown Central (5-0) at Seymour (2-3)

Jeffersonville (0-5) at Silver Creek (3-2)

I feel like the Seymour and Brownstown game could go either way and, whichever team I pick, the opposite team will win. I’ll take Brownstown though because Seymour has been letting me down and I think Reed May’s experience of being a long-time head coach will allow him to figure out a way to neutralize Seymour and their firepower.
