HHPatriots
Let's get the party started. What is the visitor stand situation at Batesville? Looks worse than Scottsburg, which was bad. This should be a slobberknocker. For what it's worth (which is nothing and means nothing): neutral field [2023] Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN) 27 (61%), [2023] Batesville (IN) 22 (39%)
jw33
Visitor side stands have plenty of room for most teams. Plenty of room along the fence to stand as well. It is a very nice fairly new field and locker rooms. Plenty of great places to eat before the game as well.

Google maps must be an old aerial shot then.

It looks like on film the home side is covered and the press box is on the visitor side, so that white roof is the home stand could be wrong though
Trojan12
I can only speak from experience when EC has played at Batesville. The home side is on the left in that picture and is covered by the roof. If you want a seat on the visitors side I would get there early. There is a good amount of space to stand along the fence. HHPatriots
Roger that. I thought that was an elevated press box, I didn't realize those were covered stands. Very nice.
WCGrad92
i cant remember if its old stands from a racing track, or just built to be like the racing track home stands, the field is very nice.

Very nice. Its a great place to watch a game. Batesville had one of the better game plans that I've seen against EC this year. Very physical team with a quick dline. It's one of those make sure your chin strap is buckled extra tight type of games.

Coffin K9
There is plenty of room on the visitor's side. The covered home stands were originally built for a horse racing track many years ago, and then donated to the school after horse betting was outlawed. Buckle up those chin straps is some solid advice!!

StinkTownClown
Stinky, Stink, Stink 1.2..3... It's been a few years since Cutler High has been this deep! Coming to Bulldog land from way down South Coffin K9 will be more than happy to let you tailgate with him while slamming Bulldog BL's down! Not so fast my Coffin K9 friend, Cutler High will have some players who will put the Bulldogs in their pin. Casketnation better grind and dine, cause empty trips and getting shut out in the second half will have them way behind! Stink will be cheering for the EIAC Dogs to win, but he also won't be surprised if Cutler High walks out with a win! Tiger & Bulldog BL's FOREVER - Kentucky Bourbon NEVER!!!
ragdoll
Actually thought Dawgs would have been more physical up front than what I saw at IC. Sure, they were better than Braves as I expected, but the Creek had some good o calls that they failed to execute and that was the difference between a close, one play away ball game to win and the comfortable margin Dawgs gained and kept. Batesville just did not put away a lesser, but feisty squad. Thought last year's Lawrenceburg was a stronger version of what I saw Friday. ragdoll
Anyway, any life left to this regional rivalry of so many years ago and the current? Batesville had some tough teams way back then just as Patriots.
TommyTwoTimes
This is the rivalry history right here... I'm sure the Dawgs are probably looking for some revenge. Edited November 8, 2023 by TommyTwoTimes
TommyTwoTimes
There's probably a couple kids on the team who's dads seasons were ended... EVERY YEAR by Bob Clayton and his Patriots. Cutler never played Batesville. Any R Wilson relatives on the squad? Hit the Go Route early and often. My footBalls are still cold from changing in your shed of a locker room... But this ain't 04, no trophies go back to the Hill. Don't get me wrong, C3 expects a good fight. But unfortunately for the Invaders, there won't be a Seifrig in sight! C3 remembers the mouthpiece sent flying. But this time around, it'll be the Hill Pats crying. Predictions, Predictions, Triple C predicts...... It'll be Bulldog BLs with about 1.6! Caskets and Tubas FOREVER! XmasCIty Brewing.....NEVER! LONG LIVE THE EIAC!
jets
SO...the way I'm reading this - in Batesville's "glory years" of 5 straight sectional championships (where in heck was L-Burg in those days??) - they couldn't get past the mighty Patriots?? (who were a freaking machine back in those days) That was a long time ago I get it - but 0-5 is 0-5. Don't see that changing this week - this Patriot D is TOUGH and they'll do just enough on Offense to pull it out. Give me Pats by

Oh, it’s true there’ll be no Cole Seifrig coming through the door But there will be a few new faces who weren’t born yet in 2004 There's a young buck named Jett whose legs and arm keep him true to his name And if you let Ruxer go deep on you that’ll really hurt your game Durham, Smith, Coop, Hart, and Meridith are also names you’ll hear alot And their chinstraps have been tight all year long, the D can take what the DAWGS have got So yeah, Clayton’s Patriots are all long gone but there’s been a new sheriff in town And I never thought I’d say this but you should listen to Stink the Clown 1
