Today, SF is wondering (based on the lyrics) which song is more offensive?

I guess if some gal(s) in the Hip-Hop world want to sing about the condition of her Hoo-Haa(s), then that's her/their prerogative.

I would argue the same for a country singer who wants to illustrate the difference between small-town values compared with larger city values.

I suppose guilty minds may find his lyrics offensive........

Whores in this house
There's some whores in this house
There's some whores in this house
There's some whores in this house (hol' up)
I said certified freak, seven days a week
Wet ass pussy, make that pullout game weak, woo! (Ah)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, you fucking with some wet ass pussy
Bring a bucket and a mop for this wet ass pussy
Give me everything you got for this wet ass pussy
Beat it up, nigga, catch a charge
Extra large, and extra hard
Put this pussy right in yo' face
Swipe your nose like a credit card
Hop on top, I want a ride
I do a kegel while it's inside
Spit in my mouth, look at my eyes
This pussy is wet, come take a dive
Tie me up like I'm surprised
Let's role-play, I wear a disguise
I want you to park that big Mack truck right in this little garage
Make it cream, make me scream
Out in public, make a scene
I don't cook, I don't clean
But let me tell you, I got this ring (ayy, ayy)
Gobble me, swallow me, drip down the side of me (yeah)
Quick, jump out 'fore you let it get inside of me (yeah)
I tell him where to put it, never tell him where I'm 'bout to be
I run down on him 'fore I have a nigga running me
Talk yo' shit, bite your lip
Ask for a car while you ride that dick (while you ride that dick)
You ain't never gotta fuck him for a thing
He already made his mind up 'fore he came
Now get your boots and your coat for this wet ass pussy
He bought a phone just for pictures of this wet ass pussy
Pay my tuition just to kiss me on this wet ass pussy
Now make it rain if you wanna see some wet ass pussy
Look, I need a hard hitter, I need a deep stroke
I need a Henny drink, I need a weed smoker
Not a garden snake, I need a king cobra
With a hook in it, hope it lean over
He got some money, then that's where I'm headed
Pussy A-1, just like his credit
He got a beard, well, I'm tryna wet it
I let him taste it, and now he diabetic
I don't wanna spit, I wanna gulp
I wanna gag, I wanna choke
I want you to touch that lil' dangly thing that swing in the back of my throat
My head game is fire, punani Dasani
It's going in dry, and it's coming out soggy
I ride on that thing like the cops is behind me (yuh, ah)
I spit on his mic' and now he tryna sign me, woo
Your honor, I'm a freak bitch, handcuffs, leashes
Switch my wig, make him feel like he cheating
Put him on his knees, give him some' to believe in
Never lost a fight, but I'm looking for a beating
In the food chain, I'm the one that eat ya
If he ate my ass, he's a bottom feeder
Big D stand for big demeanor
I could make ya bust before I ever meet ya
If it don't hang, then he can't bang
You can't hurt my feelings, but I like pain
If he fuck me and ask, "Whose is it?"
When I ride the dick, I'ma spell my name, ah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, you fucking with some wet ass pussy
Bring a bucket and a mop for this wet ass pussy
Give me everything you got for this wet ass pussy
Now from the top, make it drop, that's some wet ass pussy
Now get a bucket and a mop, that's some wet ass pussy
I'm talking WAP, WAP, WAP, that's some wet ass pussy
Macaroni in a pot, that's some wet ass pussy, huh

Sucker punch somebody on a sidewalk
Carjack an old lady at a red light
Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store
Ya think it's cool, well, act a fool if ya like
Cuss out a cop, spit in his face
Stomp on the flag and light it up
Yeah, ya think you're tough
Well, try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town
Got a gun that my granddad gave me
They say one day they're gonna round up
Well, that shit might fly in the city, good luck
Try that in a small town

I never believed the Founding Fathers thought "serving your country" was a lifetime career choice, especially in the Legislative branch.

Indiana Law Lets Cops Push Bystanders Back 25 Feet. A New Lawsuit Says It's Unconstitutional.

https://reason.com/2023/08/09/indiana-law-lets-cops-push-bystanders-back-25-feet-a-new-lawsuit-says-its-unconstitutional/

Quote

An Indiana law makes it a crime for individuals to approach within 25 feet of a police officer if ordered by that officer to back away. However, on Tuesday, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a lawsuit challenging the law, arguing that it infringes upon individuals' First Amendment right to record and observe police.

In March, the state legislature passed a law making it a misdemeanor to "knowingly or intentionally [approach] within twenty-five (25) feet of a law enforcement officer lawfully engaged in the execution of the law enforcement officer's duties after the law enforcement officer has ordered the person to stop."

"Our public safety officers have important work to do, and their jobs often involve dangerous and unpredictable situations," Rep. Wendy McNamara (R–Evansville) said in a February press release. "The goal of this bill is to give officers another tool to help control a scene to maintain their safety and the public's safety."

The problem, according to the ACLU, is that the law allows police to effectively prevent journalists and other bystanders from recording their activity—or even watching them in action. For example, Donald Nicodemus, the plaintiff, says that he was prevented from filming police during an investigation of a shooting. The suit also alleges police failed to properly enforce the law, and that they instructed Nicodemus to back up over 50 feet.

"There was no basis for forcing Mr. Nicodemus to move even further back from the area—fully across the street—where police [were] conducting their activities. However, Mr. Nicodemus complied as he had been threatened with arrest."

"The unbridled discretion given to law enforcement officers by [the law] allows for and invites content and viewpoint-based discrimination," the complaint continues, concluding that the law "violates the First Amendment as it gives police officers unbridled discretion to prohibit citizens from approaching within 25 feet of the officers to observe their actions, even if the actions of the citizens are not and will not interfere with the police."

Lawsuits challenging similar laws have succeeded before. For example, an Arizona law that would have banned filming within 8 feet of a police officer was blocked by a federal judge last year.

"Arizona already has other laws on its books to prevent interference with police officers," wrote Judge John J. Tuchi in a preliminary injunction, adding that if the goal "is to prevent interference with law enforcement activities, the Court fails to see how the presence of a person recording a video near an officer interferes with the officer's activities."

Sounds like a good lawsuit to me.

Public Employee Unions Rule California

https://reason.com/2023/08/18/public-employee-unions-rule-california/

Quote

One official remarked years ago that his county essentially was a pension provider that offered a few public services on the side. It was a snarky reminder that public-employee compensation—especially those exorbitant pensions paid at relatively young ages—consumed the bulk of municipal budgets. It's the tail wagging the dog.

The same dynamic is at work at the state level. State Sen. Steve Glazer (D–Orinda) last month made waves for a column he penned in The Los Angeles Times. Commenting on the recently passed $310-billion budget that ramps up funding for all the usual progressive priorities, he dared to say what everyone in Sacramento knows—even if saying so breaks social taboos.

"(W)e've already spent billions of dollars on the same problems—with very little to show for it," he wrote. "Our failures are evidence that good intentions and lots of money are not enough to fix what ails the Golden State. To make our progressive beliefs mean anything, the Legislature must ensure that the money we spend is actually improving the lives of the people we say we are committed to helping."

His "solutions" aren't significant enough to mention in detail, but Glazer made reference to "special interest demands" and legislators "caving in to the unions." That at least acknowledges the proverbial elephant in the room. Public employee unions exert excessive influence and capture the bulk of new spending for themselves. It's not only a Democratic problem. The state GOP is beholden to the biggest offenders (police and firefighters' unions).

This session, Assemblyman Heath Flora (R–Modesto) authored Assembly Bill 1254, which would grant automatic pay raises forever to state firefighters to bring their current average compensation ($200,000 to $253,000 a year) up to the rates of better-compensated municipal firefighters, which pay 15% to 40% more. This Editorial Board referred to the bill as "hands down the most irresponsible union-giveaway proposal this year."

If you wonder why there's never enough money and why lawmakers always look for new ways to raise taxes, then take a look at the Transparent California website, which details state and local compensation packages. For instance, I count more than 200 California Highway Patrol employees who in 2022 earned above $400,000 in total compensation, with the top earner receiving $777,000.

This year, California faced a $32-billion deficit, which lawmakers closed through kick-the-can accounting gimmicks and some cuts to the climate-change spending bonanza. Public employees were spared any pain and some bargaining units received pay bumps even though there's no guarantee we'll soon be back in black. Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democratic supermajorities managed to avoid tough choices.

In 2012, California faced similarly sized deficits. The budget drama, coupled with news reports of struggling pension systems and outrageous pension benefits, sparked a pension-reform movement. Voters in Democratic-dominant San Jose overwhelmingly approved a pension-reform ballot measure 2012, which later was thrown out by the courts. A union-friendly state agency (the Public Employment Relations Board) and courts also derailed a 2012 reform measure in San Diego.

Despite those setbacks, the measures highlighted public support for reining in out-of-control pension obligations that sap budgets and enrich politically powerful union members. As part of his budget, then-Gov. Jerry Brown spearheaded and signed a modest (but useful) pension-reform law known as the Public Employees' Pension Reform Act (PEPRA). It went into effect in 2013. Since then, the state has veered even further left and no one even bothers anymore.

In her recent Orange County Register column spotlighting one Los Angeles fire captain who earned $510,000 in overtime last year (for total compensation of $699,000), Teri Sforza detailed the shocking setbacks we've seen since the 2012. She focused on overtime: "In 2012, only 213 city workers earned overtime of at least $100,000. Last year, 3,680 did. … In 2012, 3,814 city workers earned at least $50,000 in overtime. Last year, 16,699 did."

The overtime system seems designed to boost pay. And, of course, public employee pay and pension payouts have continued on an upward trajectory in the past 11 years. But it's never enough. Lately, we're seeing an emboldened public employee union effort that has led Los Angeles city workers to recently go on strike. Last month, the same agency (PERB) that largely killed off the San Diego pension measure has gutted San Francisco's charter provisions forbidding public employees from going on strike.

Mission Local noted that such provisions were "enacted following chaotic 1970s-era public employee walkouts." Hey, the nation is enduring Jimmy Carter-style inflation, so why not throw bouts of labor unrest into the mix just for nostalgia's sake? And everyone is getting in on the action, as highly paid prison doctors and psychiatrists authorized a strike early this month.

Let's just admit to reality: Taxpayers actually work for our public employees rather than the reverse. As long as that's the case, public services will never improve and your tax burden will only increase.

What F.D.R. said decades ago was the truth;  public sector unions are a scourge that should never have been allowed to come into being:

Quote

"All Government employees should realize that the process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service, "It has its distinct and insurmountable limitations when applied to public personnel management."

"The very nature and purposes of Government make it impossible for administrative officials to represent fully or to bind the employer in mutual discussions with Government employee organizations,"   - FDR

"I just don't understand why major corporations are pulling their stores out of our neighborhoods where we sooooo desperately need them" - (Typical liberal person's question - normally asked while carrying a "defund the police" sign)

https://nypost.com/2023/10/23/news/police-release-footage-of-looting-at-7-eleven-store-in-california-suspects-sought/

A mob of looters can be seen ransacking a 7-Eleven convenience store just outside Sacramento in a shocking new video released by police.

In the chaotic video, dozens of rowdy shoplifters run amok inside the store, entering and exiting through a smashed plate-glass window while carrying cases of beer and cigarette cartons.

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the fracas began after a nearby “sideshow” — an unsanctioned, illegal gathering where groups of drivers take over parking lots or even busy public roadways to perform dangerous automotive stunts.

Cops arrived approximately five minutes after being called, but by the time they got there, the looters were already long gone.

On this topic:  https://reason.com/2023/10/23/government-run-grocery-store-is-predictably-losing-money/

Quote

Chicago's city government is infamously corrupt and unable to provide basic services like education and public safety consistently, but Mayor Brandon Johnson is pushing for the city to also try running a grocery store.

It wouldn't be the first government-run grocery store—and not even the first one in the United States. For some context about what Chicago is planning, The Wall Street Journal dispatched a reporter to check out the municipal-owned grocery store in Erie, Kansas, which opened in 2021.

How's it going there? Uh, not great.

"Erie Market, which the city took over in 2021, is losing money almost every month amid stiff competition from a Walmart 15 miles away and a Dollar General across the street," reports the Journal's Joe Barrett. Erie Market posted just a single profitable month during 2022 and lost $132,000.

Maybe Erie's erstwhile government grocers didn't realize that—unlike with other government services—grocery stores are subject to competition. Bummer.

But city officials "aren't giving up," they tell the Journal. Meanwhile, the store's manager says the "goal" is to lose only $100,000 this year.

In other words, maybe Erie should give up?

To be sure, running a grocery store is a tough, low-margin business with tons of competition. There's nothing shameful about a brand new business losing money in that environment—unless that money belongs to taxpayers, many of whom probably aren't even using the government-run store.

In Chicago, officials envision a city-owned grocery store as a way to address food deserts in neighborhoods where privately owned stores have closed and moved away. But rather than trying—and inevitably failing—to duplicate those services at the public's expense, Johnson should instead listen to why the likes of Walmart and Safeway have bailed. "Grocery operators have pointed to crime and homelessness as reasons they've needed to invest more in security, driving up costs," the Chicago Sun-Times reported earlier this year.

Grocery store chains don't have some anti-Chicago bias. If the people in charge of the city made those neighborhoods safe and economical places to do business, groceries would be as plentiful as they are anywhere else in America. Reducing Chicago's high crime rate would surely help, though that's admittedly a long-term project. But there is something city officials could do almost overnight: Reduce Chicago's commercial property tax rates, which are some of the highest in the country, or the city's high sales taxes that incentivize consumers (the ones who can, anyway) to do their shopping outside the city.

At best, a government-run grocery store is merely addressing the symptoms, not the underlying problems plaguing Chicago—and it seems unlikely to improve the symptoms, for that matter.

As Reason's Nick Gillespie pointed out last month: "This is not progress, it's decline, and on an epically confused scale. If the wide sweep of the past century or so made anything clear, it's that governments at all levels really don't need to be involved in the provision of basic goods and services, whether we're talking about food, airlines, utilities, communications, garbage hauling, health care, taxis, or even a post office (when, in the internet age, is the last time you actually visited that museum of dead letters?). We don't even need the government to get into space anymore! Yet Chicago's government needs to get in the grocery biz?"

The most famous failure of government-run grocery stores comes, naturally, from the old Soviet Union, where basic consumer necessities were often in short supply. Soviet leader Boris Yeltsin's 1989 visit to a Texas supermarket—where he was astounded by the variety and supply of goods on offer—has been credited with a significant role in the downfall of communism in Russia.

But what's happening in Erie, Kansas, (and what could happen on a larger scale in Chicago) is a useful reminder that the folly of government-run grocery stores is sadly not a historical relic like the USSR.

SF would like to think that a Secret Service Agent would be able to hit whatever it is he/she would be firing his/her weapon at - at any given time.......I would certainly think breaking the window of a SS vehicle would justify getting shot.......

I guess what else would you expect - They couldn't find who brought cocaine into the White House.....

“[A]round 11:58 p.m. … Secret Service agents encountered possibly three individuals breaking a window on a parked and unoccupied government vehicle,” Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said.

“During this encounter, a federal agent discharged a service weapon and it is believed no one was struck,” Guglielmi said.

“The offenders immediately fled the scene in a red vehicle and a regional lookout was issued to supporting units. There was no threat to any protectees and the incident is being investigated by the DC Metropolitan Police Department and the Secret Service.”

Coming from the former olympic athlete formerly known as Bruce Jenner - "RETARTED"  -  ROTFLOL!!!!!!

https://pagesix.com/2023/11/16/entertainment/caitlyn-jenner-uses-r-word-on-twitter-but-misspells-it/?_ga=2.192161194.1887989847.1699881302-122891515.1682512271&_gl=1*luf9hk*_ga*MTIyODkxNTE1LjE2ODI1MTIyNzE.*_ga_0DZ7LHF5PZ*MTcwMDE0MjE2MC4yNjAuMS4xNzAwMTQzOTQxLjAuMC4w

Caitlyn Jenner proudly used the R-word on Twitter — only to be mercilessly trolled for misspelling it.

The Olympian typed out the slur Wednesday night in response to Donald Trump Jr. complaining that it is no longer “a big part of our vernacular” as it was when he was “growing up.”

“I’ll say it RETARTED!” Jenner boldly replied.

After another social media user pointed out the glaring typo, the former “I Am Cait” star corrected herself.

“Excuse me… RETARDED,” she wrote.

This is why stars need to keep their politics to themselves.  DeNiro is a great actor - hands down one of the best ever, and I really like his films.  But when accepting an award for his acting, quit dissing on a former President - only proving the guy lives rent-free in your head.

Also - feel some empathy for the wrongs committed in his latest movie, but don't forget that if history didn't happen, the USA or Mr. Deniro wouldn't be where he is today.

Taxi for Robert! Awkward moment De Niro, 80, screws up speech attacking Donald Trump at the Gotham Awards in New York City - as actor claims it was secretly 'EDITED' behind his back

  • De Niro, 80, struggled to get through his speech before claiming it was cut down
  • He still went back and read his comments blasting former President Trump
  • The actor later said he didn't 'feel like thanking' the sponsors: 'How dare they?'

WASHINGTON - A Native American group filed a lawsuit against the Washington Commanders in federal court this morning that upends a long-standing cancel-culture narrative about racism in sports.

The Native American Guardians Association (NAGA) accuses the NFL franchise and new owner Josh Harris of defamation, civil conspiracy and civil rights violations for their role in suppressing Native American history, in a complaint filed in the United States District Court of North Dakota.

NAGA led a viral petition this summer demanding that the organization reclaim its traditional Redskins identity. It generated 150,000 signatures.

"Commanders is a fitting name for oppressors," the suit stated.

The group seeks $1.6 million in damages and "a seat at the table to share Native American history," plaintiff attorney Chad LaVeglia told Fox News Digital.

"We believe the complaint is without merit, and we will address the matter in court," said a Commanders spokesperson.

The complaint also names the powerful National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) for its role in erasing from public discussion the image and history of real Native Americans. The suit claims that the NCAI contributes to a legacy of cultural oppression suffered by indigenous peoples.

"The name ‘Redskins’ carries deep cultural, historical, and emotional significance, honoring the bravery, resilience, and warrior spirit associated with Native American culture," the NAGA complaint states.

The Redskins were, it adds, "the only team in the National Football League (NFL) to honor an actual Native American."

Central to the NAGA argument is that the Redskins name and logo were inspired by real historic tribal leaders who played influential roles in American history and that this factual narrative was obliterated by the NCAI.

The franchise adopted the name Redskins in 1933 and, since 1972, the team logo was a portrait of celebrated late Blackfoot Chief John Two Guns White Calf.
