      Corrupt files   07/26/2017

The server files for the forum were lost early in the morning 26,July 2017.   I restored the forum but using a fresh install of the forum software but we lost all of the images stored on the server. The way I see it... no big deal as it gives us a fresh start.   Over the next couple days I will restore the images I have saved for the forum. but I do not have everyone personal image. You can easily restore that yourself. Any pictures shared in a post that were stored here are also gone... again a fresh start of no clutter.    I just wanted to let you know what was going on. This will display until 1, Sept 2017.

  1. NLC 2017

    North East Corner Conference
  2. why is mowing the lawn a "need?" justify this frivolous exercise please
  3. NLC 2017

    so will Plymouth http://am1050.com/2017/turf-project-for-football-field-at-phs-scheduled-for-this-summer/
  4. Possible IPS closures

that is extremely frustrating I'm sure....one would think there would be a set time period for the take over and then another chance for the local school corp to get it right.
  5. Possible IPS closures

Is there any kind of a time table on when IPS will get full control of these schools back? Or is it some kind of measurement that has to be passed before they are handed back?
  6. What about instead of doing a total count of students in the schools only counting the number of students who turn in completed physicals. These are the only number of students who actually intend to participate in athletics so therefore they should be the only ones who count towards the IHSAA classifications. Schools that struggle because of socioeconomic factors tend to have that issues because although they may have a school of say 600-700 they actual percentage of those students would probably be a lot less than a school with better socioeconomic circumstances. No need to count sectional points AD's already have to keep on file all of the physicals turned into them so it wouldn't take any extra time to get the count completed.
  7. can name 18 to you sectional(and beyond) roster...can only dress 12 for any one game in the tournament
  8. WKVI reports Craig Barr was hired with a 4-3 school board vote
  9. HNAC All-Conference

I know we had some minor "beef" a few weeks back in regards to who you were predicting who would be named All-Conference, but I believe that you just gave a very fair assessment here. Overall I just think too many kids period (all schools are a little over represented) have been named to the team and honorable mention. I hope that the changes that have been made for moving forward have streamlined it a little bit.
  10. HNAC 2017

if North Miami and South Central would both want to join I'd be all for the HNAC going to 10 and doing a North and South Division Split in Football....if North Miami is the only school wanting to get in right now (seems to be the way it is) then I think the HNAC would be better off sticking with 8
  11. NLC 2016

haven't heard a lot from that Plymouth Glenn Game other than Glenn had two free throws in regulation (up 2 to ice it) failed to convert and plymouth scored to send it in to overtime...
  12. I thought WC92 had said that it was take the 192 top teams according to the formula and then split them up by enrollment? I could have misunderstood him but I thought he said enrollment does matter just not until you find out who qualified first.
  13. Idk for sure that it was the only reason that Roosevelt asked to play at Knox instead of hosting, that is just what I heard through the grapevine. I noticed that Roosevelt only had 2 home games the entire season and they were both played on a Saturday afternoon. Absolutely and River Forest this week as well played us very tough last year likely to be a better atmosphere than last Friday I'm sure!
  14. I think I get it now...I'm totally with you that improvements can be made to the system we have... this past Friday Knox was supposed to play @ Gary Roosevelt but it had to be moved to Knox because of a lack of a functioning 40 second clock at Gary. Roosevelt Bus showed up for the game with roughly 30 minutes on the clock before kickoff and they had a total of 2 fans sitting in their bleachers during the game...it just didn't have the atmosphere of what you would think a "playoff" game should be. It was very sad to see a school with so much athletic success in their history so unsupported and disorganized....
  15. oh I didn't realize you weren't using Indiana's Classification system. Im sorry. I guess its more numbers and math than my brain can handle haha
