  2. That's the opposite of what this thread is about. However, statistically speaking there should be an antithesis to the 1961 Reitz team. Are there, however, more than one? That would buck statistical models.
  3. Can't help but notice you left out BNL in your post.
  4. You left out a school.
  5. Also, if I was an AD at any of the schools that bordered CI members and I wasn't extended an invitation to join the conference, I'd drop all CI opponents that I had as non-conference games.
  6. Beggars can't be choosers, and CI has some beggars.
  7. These statements contradict.
  8. Are the OOB archives also there?
  9. Or, maybe using the regular season to determine a post-season isn't an optimal method of determining playoff qualifications.
  10. A Sectional championship in a 6A with only 4 Sectionals is still a Semi-State appearance. It would actually make winning a 6A Sectional more prestigious, due to the paucity of the title.
  11. It would at least make 6a sectionals the same size as most of the sectionals in the other classes. Having 4 team Sectionals cheapens the Sectional's value.
  12. There was a situation out in Nevada actually where a team had to forfeit a playoff game due to our pitch count rule. It sounds like a counter productive rule, all things considered.
