    I will almost never use the H back to designate strength.  Too many offenses motion him pre-snap and that throws off what we want to do defensively.  In your pictures, the TE is almost always the strength call.  If there isn't a TE, we may use multiple receivers or, more likely, a field/boundary call to determine strength. Zone Teams we may rely on which side the back offsets, assuming they don't run a lot of pistol.

    I think Norwell is going to be the favorite this year for Sectional 27.  Bring a ton back from a very competitive team last year.  Held Concordia to 10 offensive points. (Concordia's defense was able to get a pick 6 early in the game) Only position losses are at center, 1 d end, 1 olb that was injured 2/3 of the season, and a corner.

    Norwell Looking For Thud Opponents on July 16th 2020

    Norwell High School, 3A in Ossian IN. (south of Fort Wayne) would like to host a friendly thud during this upcoming summer.  We would like to have 3 other schools come and participate in a round robin thud scrimmage. We are entertaining a format that includes each team playing each other for 30 minutes, splitting the time for offense and defense. We plan to have all teams participating on our turf field with the availability to film from various locations.
