  1. So those that have seen Carroll play this year, what do they have to do friday to get this game into the fourth quarter with a chance to win?  Or maybe what do they have to change up from what they have done this year. They seem to pass more than last year but still, if AC   shuts down the inside runs with the big boy then what?

  2. Big game in Sheridan as Carroll tries to complete a clean slate and win conference outright. If Sheridan defends the home turf then its a three way tie with Eastern as long as Eastern wins

Carroll at Sheridan  --- comparing the scores against Prairie and Eastern you would have to think Carroll wins by at least 2 to 3 touchdowns.

Eastern at Clinton Prairie--- Eastern wins rather easily against a banged up Gopher squad.

Taylor at Delphi---- Oracles finish regular season strong with 3 out of 4 wins

Tri Central at Clinton Central --- The George Gilbert bowl goes to a hard nosed Bulldog team who kept fighting all year.

  3. Big Week in the Heartland-- 3 teams in the top 10 and Eastern knocking on the door.

Carroll at Eastern -- Eastern stuffs the run and wins a close one  36-34

Clinton Central at Taylor-- Taylor wins this one with relative ease

Tri Central at Delphi--  Delphi wins first one after playing a tough schedule so far.

    Saturday night special

Clinton Prairie at Sheridan --  Sheridan wins a great battle  38-30

  4. Rough last week for the HH. 2-6  hopefully things get going in right direction Friday

Clinton Prairie at Frankfort -- Frankfort

    Eastern at Northwestern -- Eastern

    Blackhawk at Taylor--Taylor

    North Miami at Sheridan--Sheridan

    Riverton Parke at Carroll--Carroll

    Tri Central at Wes Del--TC

    Twin Lakes at Delphi--Twin Lakes

True.  Might be more/less successful based on the Jimmies/Joes as opposed to Xs and Os, but if I recall correctly they played that style against LCC in the semi-state games back in 2011 and 2012.  As typical, LCC had a nice passing attack balanced with a fast and wide running attack.  Despite losing both times, Sheridan limited LCC to 17 and 13 points respectively in 2011 and 2012.  Only CMA, which was the only team to beat LCC those two years was able to hold LCC to less offensive points.

whats your picks tonight for LCC, WL,Jeff and Carroll?

Sheridan has been stuffing the run all year. Passing defense is the major kryptonite!

Everyone talks about Bud Wright and all of his wins and history etc. well I've seen every Sheridan game this year and the coaching especially on defense is absolutely terrible. They make absolutely no adjustments and just let the corners get beat all game long, even if the Blackhawks stop the run ND should have a field day in the pass game. 100% coaching is a disaster, not to mention they only run 3-5 plays on offense and sometimes run the same play 4-5 times in a row. Bud just lines up and says my guys are better than yours and we will find a way to win just because we have better athletes! Now that they are playing similar competition he will get absolutely out coached and sadly for the Sheridan kids they could lose at home in blow out fashion.

Too bad too because Sheridan has a lot of Senior talent. Would love to see them pull out the upset...

Sheridan will need long successful drives and will need to stop the ND run game for starters. From there will need to stay in the game by winning the turnover battle and special teams play if they want to pull off the victory. Hopefully for once this season the corners can keep the WRs in front of them and not give up the deep ball. If they can limit the ND possessions and win time of possession with the run all day attitude and get a turnover or 2... they might have a chance. All this will require the coaches to get their act together...

Skeptically optimistic... but this goes 1 of 2 ways:

38-14 ND... If the stars align 22-21 Sheridan in the upset

    Go Blackhawks

ya. . . They have done a terrible job, except their only loss was week 1 against Webo, and they ran roughshod through the rest of their schedule except for beating Carroll on their field by a point.  Hopefully, these coaches led by Mr Wright can come with a acceptable game plan this week.
