  1. Very interested to see how this game ends up playing out. Both teams have some kind of advantage on their side. Linton likes to run, so the weather will definitely play into their favor in this one. MD has home field advantage and does not have to deal with traveling. Interested to see how MD’s passing game looks in the extremely cold weather. Been waiting for this game all year hoping it was going to happen, let the toughest team win. Wondering what everyone’s predictions are for this one.

  2. Im a little biased, but it definitely seems that are four teams in the south that could make the trip to LOS. Linton seems to be the favorite to make it there, but definitely have not played the schedule of the other 3 teams in TC, Scecina, and MD. The TC and Scecina game is definitely the one to keep eyes on this week. Interested to see who can make it up there this year from the south, these four teams seem to be very evenly matched for the most part.

Watched some scecina highlights vs LCC on max preps.  The RB is small but fast, OL seems undersized but quick and opened some holes that the RB exploited.  Looks like MD will have the size advantage in the trenches, but will need to make some sure tackles or the RB can break some long runs.  Didn't see any of their defensive highlights.  Any insight on what they do defensively?  I see that they have 5 or 6 shutouts on the season.

Just watched a video of them on Maxpreps playing Centerville a few weeks ago. Looks like they like to run some 4-3 defense. Held them to 10 points. If MD ground game opens then the passing game will open as well. Should be a good match up.
