I’ve heard Manchester has 15 applicants. Quite a bit of interest.
Whitko hired Brad Sprunger—the third Sprunger to coach the Cats.
I have heard a name at Southwood. Can’t officially confirm it, but it would be an absolutely sick hire, Mark my words.
Spill the beans.....

Didn't this happen a month ago?
My bad. Don't know why I didn't catch the date on the article, or am just now seeing it circulating.

Good guy, he really got their numbers up, and off season participation in the weight room was rapidly improving.

So this begs the question as to why these kids went to Andrean in the first place?
You beat me to it!

I too, love day drinking.
What's your favorite spot?

FW North is not winning the sectional, let alone semi state. I agree with a TON of talent in the skill positions, but up front they are susceptible.
I'll take Snider by 10 IF they can get past Dwenger again. Always a tough game.

I think the score of TV at Southwood will tell us a lot about how a rematch with Rochester would go, that being said, would love to see a Southwood win lol
Great win for the program and Coach Snyder!

Peru
Northfield
Rochester
Valley...I didn't realize how loaded their Junior class is.
Wabash
Selfishly, I would like to see Southwood get a chance to play Rochester again. Brutal draw for them as well with Adams Central and then most likely South Adams.

My nomination for "Oh My" team of the year is 1A Madison-Grant. They are currently 6-1 on the year and in each of their 6 victories they have held their opponents to 8 points or less. The beat the biggest school in their conference (4A Mississinewa) for the first time in 9 years (during which was on average a 37 point victory for Mississinewa).
The Argylls have not had a winning season in a decade, but that will change this season no matter the outcome of their final 3 games.
While I understand you can only control your schedule so much, their 6 wins came against teams with records of...
1-6, 0-7, 4-3, 1-6, 0-7, and 2-5.

I predict an enrollment increase for both Manchester and Oak Hill schools if this passes.
Hit the nail on the head. Even Eastbrook for some of the families who live off 218.
Somerset and LaFontaine kids would be a hop skip and a jump from OH vs traveling through Wabash every day.

Valley controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Hats off to them. Rochester fought hard but needed to limit the amount of mistakes they made on both sides of the ball. Rochester doesn't fumble the ball on the 20 with 7 min left in the game could be a different game. Can't make those mistakes against a team bigger, faster, and stronger than you are. This was a good wake up call for the Zebras. This Rochester team has a chance to make a deep playoff run but its gonna take constant improvement the next four weeks to do so. There are teams in 2A that will be just as big and physical. Can the Zebras learn from this game and reach the potential they have? I think its obvious these two teams are on a different level this year compared to the other teams in the conference. Valley has a very good team. Rumors that the Chatard team isn't what people thought they were going to be this year. Could Valley stun them and the rest of their sectional and these two teams represent the TRC deep into the month of November? Only time will tell
Just speaking for TV, highly doubt it. How many times do they turn 8/9 win regular seasons into early sectional outs?
Not sure where else they go, but TRC isn't a great fit for them conference wise when you're just looking at the football program.

Huntington North by 28....tough couple years in Decatur. Does anyone know if there's anything coming up the pipeline?
CC by 14....I feel like the question of "Is CC legit?" is asked every year and recently they have not been.
EN by 7.....can definitely bet on a dogfight.
Norwell by 21.....I took a look at their sectional.....brutal
-
Maconaquah.....shortest game of the week
Peru....Coach Tim Dubois is getting inducted into the HOF....I never appreciated his attention to detail and intensity as a coach until after I graduated
Rochester....stated above Wabash has some good pieces but I'm not sure how disciplined they are
Southwood....by a hair. Always a close game. Northfield's style of play is a bear to play against
Valley

0% it passes by the referendum vote. Potentially might get pushed through by the board, though.

Norwell by however much they want

Not sure AC is getting touched this year through sectional. Unfortunate, because I think Southwood has a good group, regardless of the first two games.

2 week non-conference schedule starts
Bellmont at Heritage, 7 pm Churubusco at Columbia City, 7 pm DeKalb at Angola, 7 pm Eastbrook at Huntington North, 7 pm Kokomo at Leo, 7:30 pm Marion at New Haven, 7 pm Norwell at Mississinewa, 7:30 pm Plymouth at East Noble, 7:30 pm Heritage with the W....even though Bellmont needs to give Coach Hall some time
CC.....
Dekalb...but could go either way
Eastbrook...how are they so good every year? I would assume the talent fluctuations at a smaller school would be larger
Kokomo....3 yards and a cloud of dust....Can Leo get them behind the chains?
Marion....
Norwell....potential will get thrown around alot
East Noble

Carroll...will be interesting to see how the transfer TE plays vs old teammates
Concordia

Long time lurker here and apologize if it's been previously discussed.......
From my understanding the SAC champ is the team with the best conference regardless of which division they play in, so what's the point of having the two separate divisions?
