I don’t think laville will be dominant this year after losing that many senior starters ! That being said they still hand it to Bremen.

From what I heard, Bremen was rough against Goshen, got pushed around, not very physical. Wore down and quick, depth and size will be an issue.
Bremen has a chance in 3 games this year at best. Going to be a long year for the lions.

Bremen admin are host going through the motions, they are fine with the status quo and won’t do anything to encourage kids to get involved. They chalk it up as that’s just the way it is.
Agreed 100% …. Unfortunately !!!!! I couldn’t imagine coaches leaving football practices during sectionals to go to preseason girls basketball practice! Honestly I wouldn’t think it’s going on anywhere except Bremen. Maybe 🤔 I’m wrong !

I thought during the tournament the IHSAA requires the host school to maintain neutrality. Shouldn't that mean cannons, whistles, bells, smoke, fireworks and other noisemakers and "special effects" be disallowed? What is the rule and who is responsible for enforcing it?
Noise makers ,all banners , cowbells are restricted after start of sectional ! That being said it isn’t enforced … happens every week !

Let’s hope the Andrean laville match up doesn’t come down to a field goal but….. I would “assume “ that Plummer got his practices in so he could kick a 40 yarder to win the game if needed !

I've been watching LaVille football for awhile now and I'll be honest with ya, the backup actually throws a better ball, but he's not nearly as mobile as Plummer is. So that takes some plays off the table, cause Plummer is amazing at extending the play and then if needed finding a seam and taking off. That will be missed. But if it came down to purely passing, Czarnecki is really good at hanging in the pocket and zipping it down field.
I remember making a comment on here awhile back that the offensive line is the mvp on laville …… well …… back up qb didn’t miss a beat !!! The war is won in the trenches ! That will be the difference in this game can lavilles line man handle andreans? We will no soon enough !

Anyone have the low down on Jimtown? After losing the first 2 games against significantly bigger schools it looks like they took care of business afterwards. Are they as good as their record indicates or playing against lesser competition? Would the Jimmie faithful like to see them bump up to the big school division?
I think Jimtown was in a weak conference and has better coaching then the rest ! Far as run in the playoffs ? Not likely !

To clarify, the fb returning is a assumption since he played some last week . Laidig not returning I’ve heard parents talking and that’s atleast the rumor .

When is Laidig back?
I don’t think he will be back this year

Bremen is very one dimensional with Moser. He is a tough back, but Riley is well coached and find a way to limit his production. When that happens Bremen can’t move the ball. That is what happened in other games.
Bremen is one dimensional because of injury to qb and fb and the latter is returning this week to both sides of the ball. I do agree with Marshall county that wildcat Bremen is running might have ran its course ! We will see what offense they bring to the game this week?

Didn’t Brett law when mr football at Sheridan ? Just a opinion here but maybe when pioneer was up a ton at state you let those kids that took a beating against the varsity all year get in the game instead of playing the starters all game .
No mr football till 1992

Same. Does anyone have any insight into why Pioneer's numbers are down despite the fact that their enrollment has increased in the past few years?
Why haven't any new Pioneer state championship signs been posted on the edges of town for any of the recent titles in four sports? Where is the sign bragging about Jack Kiser being Mr. Football? I was told before that it wasn't in the budget, but surely a few of the areas wealthy farmers and business owners could come up with the funds, right? Has it not been in the budget due to the recent field renovations? I bring this up because these are the types of small things that continue to motivate the students to pursue excellence. If I was a kid and saw a picture of Jack Kiser everyday, I would want to grow up to be just as successful as he was! Jack, as the first and only 1A Mr. Football, is a continuous inspiration to the entire community.

The Edwardsburg being a "part" of South Bend is interesting. The Eddies have certainly been hyper successful lately. Do a lot of kids who would be Penn or Mishawaka players move north to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond?
Eddie’s has one of the best youth programs around. Draw kids from Bristol,Granger, Mishawaka and Elkhart. Their little league travel team is top notch ! Genius , get kids to play at a young age and bring em in.

Being a outsider and watching them play Bremen every year … speed , size, and athleticism favor the SB schools almost every year ! The difference is absolutely coaching, If they figure it out they will be competitive again . Sb Riley might be on the right track !

I don’t think laville will be tested till the Judson game . I think they will roll over Knox and probably won’t face a real good passing team till sectionals ……. That being said Triton did push them in the first half and they answered the bell with flying colors! That’s what good teams do .

2016 is the answer ..

Glenn / Plymouth football in the past was 2 different programs . What year was the last time Bremen played Plymouth ?

Any conversation about 2A state title talk has to start with Luers, regardless of their record. Nobody in 2A plays the schedule they play year in and year out and almost nobody in 2A has the athletes they have. Now, they don’t win the state title every year, but for anyone to dismiss them based on their regular season record is just not paying attention. Carry on…
I would say it would have to start with the defending state champions . Andrean does have the athletes and does play the schedule .

I have
and Yes I do.
What has Andrean lost (they were soph/Jr loaded last year, with some good SR) and LaVille gained in 365 days that make up this gap?
Nov. 12 LaVille W 35 8 regn What laville gained in 365 days was a new offensive coordinator .

You literally said lavilles most talented group is their lineman. I'm clearly saying their skilled guys are just as good or if not better.
I’ll stand by that ! I think their line is that good . Was not saying the skilled players are not talented athletes.

That’s the difference between public vs private school they lost their qb …next guy up at Andrean ! Until someone knocks off Andrean they’re the favorite !

LaVille's skilled kids are just as good as their line. Plummer, DeWitt and Smith can flat out play.
No one said any different ? What was said …. with that line it makes it easier .

Laville lost a ton of talent and Bremen is out coached almost every game they enter !
