I love getting on here and people talking about stats. Yea, I agree, they are fun to look at and I appreciate the effort it takes to get the stats on here. But, if stats was such a huge deal as some of you are making it out to be. You would think that Bosse would be the team beating everybody. Does anybody every just look at the win loss record or is stats really that big of a deal. I'd take winning every game over being at the top in statistics. That's just me.  I know some people care about shut outs and big blowouts but what kind of football person wants to go see a blowout on a Friday night. 

I will agree with you on the blowout feeling. Or maybe because it was the longest, hottest game ever. But VL did have their chances in the 3rd and 4th quarter to make a game out of it but kept comin up short. The 51 yard FG was impressive, but was most impressive was having plenty of time to go to the concession stand. Every other play in the 2nd half, a player from Reitz was goin down with cramps. Still not sure any of those games should've been played on Friday night. That heat was miserable!

After watching the Reitz and VL game last week, I will say that VL defense is far better than the stats will say. But like you said it is early. I think there are gonna be few, if any teams that hold Reitz to less than 30 points this year. Just hard to tell off two games especially if you say VL gave up almost 30 in the second half against Bosse with their JV in. 

Gonna be a hot one this week. Anxious to see how that affects all the teams 

I'm sure some kids would not be able/willing to attend but couldn't you just fill them in with other kids

Just an idea but wouldn't it be fun to see an All-Star game between the two conferences.......Get the all conference teams together once all teams are done playing and just have a type of exhibition game. I know it's probably not feasible but just a fun idea to think about.

Nobody in particular...its just 30 yards a game doesn't seem like much....I could be wrong 🤷

4.....count em, 4, 250+ yard receivers. That's a little less than 30 yards a game if my math is right. If they were everything you're saying they are, they would've had more than half that against Washington and Princeton.

If the official said he stepped out, why would the ball have not been spotted there. Why was the ball spotted at the half yard line? Either way, touchdown or not, Lincoln really blew this game and the vincennes faithful will say if not for costly errors, they'd be 7-1. However, they now have Jasper,  in my opinion, a game that doesn't matter whatsoever,  then they have #2 Gibson Southern on the road. Gonna be a fun few weeks on highway 41

Well, I just joined so my first post has to be somewhere. Of course the Reitz faithful will say that. Just like the Vincennes faithful will say they are 2 or 3 plays from being 6-1

Reitz had 1 defensive starter out against Lincoln....time management and big plays cost Vincennes that week
