The problem with the Lily development for WeBo is all the residential building is within Lebanon city limits after the mayor annexed land further out. Lebanon will continue to grow and WeBo will only get the leftovers similar to how Tri-West and Danville have had in recent years with kids moving out of Avon and Brownsburg. I think WeBo in 15 years or so will start to see residential growth but other than the farmers who sold land to the state, a lot of them aren't selling closer out to WeBo because no one wants the suburbs out here.

I don't think someone could come up with a better prank. The fact that the Wabash students wore sombreros and ponchos to the game too is the cherry on top!

As a DePauw alum, I could probably speak for both sides and say that this is everyone's Christmas! Will be arriving in Greencastle in 2 hours and I can't wait for an awesome football game. This has to be the first bell game with this much on the line in a long time!

I don't think this will be close at all. Southmont is very good, but Linton is pretty much dominant - I am going with 48-28 Linton
35-29 I'd say is giving a team a run for their money!

I'd love to see Southmont give Linton a run for their money this Friday. I've seen South play a handful of times this year and they have the pieces for post-season success but I've always heard about these good Linton teams and it sounds like this is one that makes the old teams proud. Strength of schedule is going to balance these teams out and I think we'll be seeing a close one...

Danville and WeBo has been a growing rivalry in recent years. Although the first meeting wasn't close there's a lot more on the line this time. I think we get a much closer game this Friday! Winner of this one should go on to win their sectional.

Danville v. WeBo this week is going to be interesting... after Tri West beat Danville in the regular season Danville comes back to beat them come tournament time. Is Danville a new cinderella for this sectional? Stranger things have happened.

The NFL couldn't rig a better story line than that

4 Way Tie atop the conference
Tri-West has the head-to-head with Western Boone
Western Boone has the head-to-head against Southmont
Lebanon has the head-to-head with Tri-West
Lebanon lost to Danville who has two losses.
South plays Lebanon and Tri-West these last two weeks.
Western Boone has Danville and Lebanon.
Lebanon has the two mentioned above.
Tri-West has South and Crawfordsville.
Things are heating up these last two weeks of conference play. Who runs away with it?
P.S. trying to fire up some chatter in here!
Western Boone to leave Sagamore Conference, will form new six-team league

Sorry, "leftover" was a bad term. I just know from my experiences as a player not too long ago talking with various Tri-West/Danville kids that I had known throughout the years they would talk about kids moving in because of better opportunity athletically and more attention 1-on-1 academically due to the smaller setting. Numerous occasions I heard the same thing. It didn't mean these kids weren't as good, but they possibly didn't fit the big school scheme so they moved out, nothing wrong with it. You see it with any smaller schools that are surrounded by larger ones that are rapidly growing.
