The shutout a little surprising, but over 40 point win, not that surprising.  These ec seniors have been working for this type of domination for many years. A great class of hard working athletes and many special players.

Interesting stat. East Central in the tournament is averaging 52.2 points and only giving up an average of 6.8 points. They have pitched shutouts in 2 of the 5 games (2 of the other 3 the opponent scored 7 points). Northwood is averaging 41.6 points and giving up an average of 17 points.

For the record while many picked East Central to beat New Palestine, nobody expected 49-0. This is the first time in Coach Ralph's 11 year coaching career at New Pal that the Dragons have been shut out (very impressive). In the tournament New Pal was averaging 44.75 points and only allowing 3 points.  

I wasn't surprised really. I said in Temps poll, don't be surprised if ec wins by 40. They are that dominant.  Absolutely dominant offensive line play. With great athletes carrying the ball. Nice win ec!

Westfield beats new pal by 20. A final 4 team, or maybe better in 6a. If ec beats new pal by 40, don't be surprised. Ec could beat anyone in the state this year. That's just the damn truth. They are that good.

They play who is on the schedule, kids can't change that. Kudos to the bulldogs, tigers, wildcats, knights, Spartans, and Greensburg again for taking years of ass whoopings, and coming back for more! Must be enjoyable 😉.  I'm basically just saying if you have over a hundred players on your roster and your opponents have 50, then you should probably beat their ass most of the time. Hey I'm all for ec winning another title though. Fun team to watch. Not many two- way players is also an advantage.  So with that being said,  go getem Trojans!!

Interesting note, ec loves beating up teams with half their enrollment!! In this case more than half!! Just ask most of their conference teams. Bad Boyz keep getting it done. Onto sectional final. Nice running attack last night. Ringer as advertised!! 7 td's wow. Over 300 yards rushing. My vote for Mr football. One of the best players in indiana on one of the best teams in indiana!! Good luck next week, keep it rolling!!!!

Ec has alot easier time with roncalli this year. Ec by 40. Fc and beech grove kinda go back and forth usually. I'll say grove by 13. I believe the tigers are priming up for a great run in tournament,  I'll say Lawrenceburg by 2 scores at least. Bulldogs with another win with no threat at all. Good luck to all eiac teams!! And get prepared for that tournament!!
