If you check the amount of unsportsmanlike penalties that have declined since this staff has taken over. I believe it is instilling discipline into the program. along again with the number of kids that show up for current workouts from both schools. I believe that the gelling is going in the right direction.

Coach Shattuck Has already started his feeder system when he came to Central. They are already working out with the kids now. over 70 kids coming in at a regular basis for lifting and workouts. Kids from both schools are pretty excited. looks they are buying into the system. Will they dethrone Penn? That is something we will have to see in the next 10 years. Way too early for that kind of talk. These kids are hungry and working hard. No easy schedule, especially at the front. It will be exciting to see

Sounds like if South Bend doesn't get their referendum to pass they will be dropping a high school

It's a good pick. I believe he will mesh the 2 schools very well. Congrats to Josh. The program will go from 2 teams with an average of 50 kids to a combine /If all come out of 96 players and a freshman squad that could be 30 or more.

The school itself is going to what is called a pathways school . There will actually be 6 schools that will be career oriented. As Coach Miller stated they only have the job posted until next Monday. They do want to make a decision rather quick.

Just looking for thoughts of where this program could go. Will there be any interest from some big name coaches?

I am sure their schedule will be filled with the new conference teams.
