NCAA is just a hodge podge it seems

Ruling Memphis basketball player ineligible because he moved to Memphis when he was 7 years old.   Hardaway clearly new this kid had a chance at 7 to be SPECIAL!!!!

I think the Memphis basketball player moved to Memphis before his junior year in high school.  That is why Memphis East may lose the state title they won in 2017-18.

How many of you Bears fans are on the Cam Newton bandwagon for next season? Or any other potential QB that is likely going to be leaving their current team?

Not a Bears fan but think they would prefer Tom Brady to Cam Newton.

Why can't these other extra-curricular sports programs increase their fund-raising efforts?  Why do they have to continually leech off of the profits of the football and basketball programs?

How do you propose the golf or cross country teams profit from the meets?  Since football and basketball programs are generally the only ones to generate a profit should they be the only ECAs allowed to exist?  The hell with band, robotics, chess, dance, math, knowledge bowl, etc?

Have to say it, a prime candidate for contraction.  For the good of the community, and the safety and well being of the children.  When you have an AD saying you have to field a football team primarily for financial reasons then something is out of whack, and needs to change.

I've always understood your position on contraction and ECAs at public schools but don't you think there are larger ramifications for all the students than just the 15 football players?  You wouldn't just be shuttering the football team.

The issue is that universities and everyone else gets to make money off them. Jersey sales of just the number no names of big time players sell like crazy. Billions of dollars are made off of their likeness...tv ads and all included...

just allow all athletes to make money on their own being.

Somewhat playing devil's advocate here.  Not entirely sure where I stand on the issue yet but in regards to the jersey sales...who gets the money when several players in the recent past have wore the jersey.? Prime example is Duke basketball.  There are requirements for a jersey being retired and in the era of one and dones another jersey being retired by them anytime soon is less than slim.  But since the 2010/11 season, 5 different pros have wore the #1 for the Blue Devils.  Kyrie Irving,  Jabari Parker, Harry Giles, Traveon Duval, and Zion Williamson.  Arguably, at least two of those 5 are stars (or at least BIG names) in the NBA.  At what point does a jersey (and the money that goes along with it) quit belonging to one player and move to the next player?

Sinaloa Cartel, now where have I heard that name before........hmmmmm.....

Oh yea, that’s the same cartel we armed in Fast and Furious in our on going war on drugs. Apparently we didn’t learn anything from arming the Mujahideen.

    They killed Paul Walker?

He definitely can't cut him at that point. All low blocks are not allowed once the ball has left the free blocking zone. By saying jet sweep I assume QB is in shot gun so the FBZ disintegrates immediately and low blocks are only allowed if immediately at the snap. Low blocks also must be initiated by the someone on the line against someone else on the line. Based on that your LB should never be cut unless he moves up to the line prior to the snap..

I think he is aksing if his LB can "cut" the pulling guard.

Probation is nice way of saying, you got caught, do some side education and prove you were educated and next time something like this happens you are in deeper trouble.

For Instance:  Bowman Academy, had to sit out all IHSAA tournaments for 2 years.

I find it interesting that NO PLAYER was excluded from any games either.

Essentially this is nothing more than a slap on the wrist and some bad PR for a moment.

    Thank you, sir!

I was really into the Attitude Era. Now. Certain angles.

    Lol - Wut?

What would you like for the MSM to ask the younger Biden?

Assuming that your meme is 100% accurate, why didn't the Republicans go after the Obama administration for when this happened?

The elder Biden is not in office.  What would you like to happen to him?

Why is Rudy Guiluani involved in any government business at all?  He is neither an elected official or a USG employee.

Has the MSM located Biden's son for a statement?  Any investigation on their part??

A statement as to what?  What exactly do you expect to be done to Joe assuming something nefarious happened years ago?  Also, why is Rudy involved at all?  He is no longer a part of the government.

Most importantly go to the Ale Emporium (County Line & Emerson) before the game and get an order of Hermanaki wings.  Then go to Long's Bakery on Southport Road just east of Madison and get some donuts (cash only).

    You can thank me later.

There is an Ale Emporium in the south as well?! I only knew about the one in Castleton
