The miss enable the Chiefs to just kick a tying field goal to tie the game.  Lots of long field goals and big plays in the 2nd half.  None bigger than the 4th down conversion by the Chiefs on the game winning drive.

I'm off to the eye clinic to get a shot for my AMD.  I have wet AMD in my right eye and have been getting shots for the last few months.  My eyesight is improving slowly.  Luckily I had cataract surgery at the end of 2022 and my left eye is clear enough for me to see quite well, except for some distortion.  Anyway, it's just part of being old.

I suffer with AMD and take the injections as well! I'll never forget the first "shot"! Whew, who know you could literally take a needle to the eye?? Quite an experience!

I do not know the answer to this question. I know a friend of mine who is currently a high school principal and was formerly an athletic director has tried multiple times to get on this committee and has never even heard back from anyone after he has sent an email. 

Doesn't seem like a good way to handle his request. Not to offend anyone, but I don't have much faith in the "committee".

Anyone enlighten us?

On a sidebar, Coach Felix Chambers took the reigns of the Southwood Football program in 1969. Until the hiring of Coach Tyree, all coaches following Coach Chambers were either assistants or had played for Mr. Chambers. At the conclusion of the '23 season, the coaching tree lasted 53 years!!

I have followed the Hoosiers for years. Like the Cubs, hope springs eternal. My question is, with NIL and the growth of the Big 10, who would want this job??  This is 2nd tier at best.

By the way, the lack of tackling on Saturday was horrible. I wondered if Coach Allen would be fired before the game ended.

A lot of the same names on the football roster that are on the wrestling roster. Alex Demming 1100 yard rusher this year has been a two time state qualifier in wrestling so far in his career. Brant Beck 12 yards short of 1,000 yards rushing this year qualified as a freshman last year. Brady Beck, his brother is a force on the offensive and defensive line he is a two time state qualifier. We usually tell our guys you can join the basketball team or the swim team, but if you don't want to do either of those then you ARE going to wrestle.
