Tanka....Do you think Hank Lopez could coach Mike DeCoursey to a mud wrestling victory over Amber Decoursey?  I have my doubts.

Maybe Woody Hayes could ask Hank his opinion and report back to us?

Amber Decoursey can whip Mike Decoursey in mud wrestling with one hand tied behind her back.

Lol I wouldn’t be surprised if each team has some special offense this week. I’m sure both teams have plays they have saved for big games.

I don’t think good coaches show all their cards until they have to.

Like a hook and trail or more commonly known as ladder. Or is it latter?

Is this the biggest game in recent history of the WRC? If not who was bigger? Number 4 and number 6 being only 25 miles apart? How well could this team compete with 2-3 a state tourney if combined?

Lots of great football in our conference for a long time

Yes, there is outstanding football in the WRC. It would be very difficult to find better 1A football anywhere in Indiana. I don't think those outside the WRC understand that.

I'm not much for subjective speculation so I will let the others on here who know far more than I do about these things handle your questions.

Good morning to all of my haterzzz. I'm sure you've all had a nice glass of Haterade to get your morning started. Now let me offer all of you a tasty and aromatic fart sandwich to chew on:

I went to Calpreps and chose the predict a match-up function. I entered Parke Heritage and Linton to see what they said the outcome would be. Final results?

Parke Heritage Wolfs 31 Linton Miners 24

Hopefully now that I can provide evidence based on prediction formulas you people will start to believe me when I say that Parke Heritage is better than Linton.

The Great Wall of China was originally built to keep Brian Moore out. It failed miserably.

Tanka, you  must do a lot of fishing because you certainly enjoy casting the bait.

It looks like I was justified in calling the Wolfs offense the best in the history of the WRC. They put up 50 points without their starting QB???? They put up 50 points using their 3rd (!) string QB????

For those people giving me grief for recognizing a historic offense when I see one, I accept your apology.

Also congratulations to Coach Brian Moore on winning his 200th (!) game of his career. That man's powers are unmatched. Only Herb King comes close to the greatness of Brian Moore.

PH may very well be a juggernaut  but Eastern Green is not an opponent that will test any good team's offense. The Thunderbirds are awful this year.

As I said in my initial comment, Coach Crabtree always has his teams prepared.  Even when they don't quite have the horses to win, they still compete and come ready to play.  I have a feeling the competition the Miners play is going to be a factor in this game, but hey, any given Friday night, right?  Southridge is only a couple of years removed from a 2A championship and it won't surprise me to see them make a deep tourney run this year in 3A.  So for the Miners to hang with them for 3 quarters helps a team come tourney time.  Maybe the Falcons should consider leaving the WRC.  I don't see it being as competitive as it used to be.  The Falcons could go independent and beef up their schedule.  Just a thought.

There is no possible way North Vermillion would entertain the idea of leaving the WRC.
