    NOTICE OF VACANCY

    HEAD VARSITY FOOTBALL COACH – PAOLI JR. SR. HIGH SCHOOL

    SCHOOL DESCRIPTION:

    • Approximately 621 students grades 7-12  
    • School is located in Orange County
    • New football locker rooms and facilities building, built in 2015
    • Practice field was laser-graded, leveled, and seeded in the summer of 2015
    • Playing field was laser-graded, leveled, and seeded in the summer of 2016

           

    PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

    • Members of the Patoka Lake Athletic Conference (PLAC): Crawford County, Mitchell, Orleans (non-football), Paoli, Perry Central, Springs Valley, and West Washington
    • 2019-2020 2A Sectional #39: Clarksville, Eastern (Pekin), Mitchell, Paoli, Providence, Switzerland County, Triton Central, and Union County
    • PLAC Champions: 1979, 1987, 1997, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2017, 2018
    • Sectional Champions: 1977, 2009, 2013, 2018
    • Regional Champions: 2009, 2013

     

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Head varsity football coach
      • is responsible for all aspects of the high school program
      • is responsible for all aspects of the Jr. high football program
      • will work with and help develop coaches for the Paoli Youth Football League (PYFL)
      • will be visible in the Paoli school community and Paoli community
      • will support all academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular programs at Paoli Jr. Sr. High School

     

    CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE:

    • Passion for students and their success
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Enthusiastic
    • Strong work ethic
    • Motivated
    • Ability to lead staff and develop assistant coaches

     

    Possible teaching openings: PE, Advanced PE, and Math.
