    The MWC had 1 team make it to the 2nd round. The heartland had 4. HH had five teams with .500 or better records. Mwc had 3. 

    There's a huge huge reason why Pioneer, Winamac and Caston got out of the MWC (caston maybe should have stayed but that's a different story). I think if you flip Winamac and Carroll.  Winamac doesn't have a winning record overall playing HH teams.  They win the MWC and that's the 7th place team in the HNAC I'm talking about. 

    I would say they're comparable to an extent. HH's top three teams would be #1 in the MWC, but when comparing apples to apples both the conferences are down.

Compare Carrols conference to West Centrals and it's almost identical. Strength of schedules aren't far apart but Carrol is getting credit for being good and not the Trojans, should be a good one on friday night.

    WC had a good season, and I would say the conferences are comparable. With that being said, Caroll is a superior team and will have a running clock on WC Friday night.

    HNAC Week #11 - IHSAA State Tournament

    Our games this week involving HNAC teams include:


    West Noble at Knox

    Andrean at LaVille

    South Central (UM) at Culver

    Triton at North Judson

    Knox over WN by 10 - could see a high scoring game in this matchup.

    Andrean over Laville by 14 - Laville had a great season, but I believe Andrean's schedule prepped them better than Laville's. I hope I'm wrong!

    Culver over SC in a shutout - Culver will put 40 up in the first couple quarters and let their playmakers rest as they coast to the Sectional Championship.

    North Judson over Triton by 21 - I think this matchup will be closer than the first game a month ago, but Triton won't have the fire power to come out ahead.

    Lakeland at Knox - Knox by three scores 

    Whiting at LaVille - Laville with the running clock

    Winamac at Central Catholic - CC with the running clock 

    North Newton at Culver - Culver with the running clock 

    Triton at Pioneer - Triton in a close one 

    North Judson at South Newton - NJSP with the running clock 

    West Central at Caston - WC in a close one

    No - WC has had a good season, but the Midwest conference is arguably one of the worst conferences in the state. They'll win the sectional handily and meet a team in Regional that will score as much as they want against them.

    And I realize you still don't understand the differences between facts and excuses. 

    Do not put words in Lamberts mouth. The better team won, move on.
