Cream rises?
when cow's milk sits, the cream (premium portion) rises to the top, separating itself from the non-premium liquid. it regards to a certain football the metaphur works

True. These kids are ready to win now though.
I can definitely see why memorial was missing their starters early on. Rode is a haul to bring down and he really got the Tigers going in the 2nd half after a relatively quiet offensive first half

Best 5-3 team in the state!

And that will eventually be Reitz's downfall, but congrats to them on the City and SIAC titles. No question the Panthers are a much better team with Vera at QB. He is a very versatile athlete.
as a result, do you look for any action to be taken?

Take away that blocked punt TD, score is a lot closer. Man, I was disappointed in that, Utley came out of nowhere and said that is my ball
lot of shenanigans in this one

That was a great game by Jasper. I just don’t think Jasper will have much for Memorial if they meet again. Tigers would be 6-0 with 6 convincing Wins if healthy all season. I get injury’s are part of it but rarely do teams start the season with 4 or 5 all SIAC kids out weeks 1 and 2.
no doubt. folks dont like to talk about it but its true

i'm hearing a lot of whining from the westsiders about the courier article about md and ermhs

Yep. "What you've done" vs "What you can do"
based on this, you can rank ermhs no lower than third.

tigers at full strength, back in business
deck is reshuffled

let's not forget who has primacy over the last decade. lots of injuries, and ihsaa bs, but expect certain team to make some noise when it counts

I'm not buying Harrell's prediction of Memorial (-1). EC is a school of 1,225 with a football tradition unlike anything we see in the SIAC. Laying at home will help, but I'm not sure it's enough. We'll need some magic.
anyone who grew up in a reitz family or attended a game at the bowl would disagree.

Memorial will have to play a perfect game to have a chance. That still might not be enough.
mhs just needs to do what they do. no more. if that happens, they get the "w".
if they try to do too much, they will likely lose.

I’m not much into explaining away losing performances. An L is an L. But those who are would probably say that MHS was missing key starters (Shea and Agler, plus Brody to early injury) against Jasper and that the Castle loss had a lot to do with weather-related TOs…a couple of which resulted in very favorable field position for the Knights.
But, then, bad weather affects both teams.
agreed. week one was a throw-away. the game against castle had fans on both sides of the field scratching their heads.

another all time great team
another home game
another heartbreak
great effort, great season!

I’m hearing that Hurley is considering at least one possible interesting curveball, but may be saving it for the post-season.
you know that's right. mhs' coaching brain trust is so far ahead of anything else in the siac

The right team won, but MAN! I lost a bundle on a running clock bet.
