Why shouldn’t it be? Steele is a fantastic player playing on the best/ most loaded team in the state. Put him on another team is he as dominant? I think that Fisher would be the same force regardless of where he is playing.
He was on some of the least talented CG teams that they had in the last decade and was the best player since his freshman year.

Personally speaking, wearing a fiber glass mask over my face mask would restrict my breathing quite a bit, as a player and a fat old man. If players want to wear masks id think cloth mask would be the way to go.

The most shocking plays for me were definitely Center Grove's 2 onside kicks in the 2008 State Championship vs Carmel.
-
That stinks. They need to get someone who can stay and build the program.

IHSAA Job posting board has a spot for AD positions. Not sure how often schools post on there though.

Not sure if this is the correct forum to post it on, but I thought it was interesting to see Coach Wright step down at IMG. Wonder if a return to Indiana is in his plans?

I have great respect for DC, but was hoping CG would go out of state the next few years for week 2. This will be an interesting matchup though.

People grieve and deal with losses in interesting ways...
Its a joke. I know it may be hard to understand that I am not that upset about losing since I am just a supporter. Feel sorry for the kids but they have a bright future ahead.

Carmel and CG did not fill up Lucas Oil Stadium. You would expect the 2 largest schools in the tournament to fill the entire stadium. Is it time for these schools to make a jump the the HCC?

I wish I could explain it. BD shows for certain games and will line 10th Street and buy tons of tickets when the team makes a state run, but it's difficult to get our fans out before then. I remember in the 2000 Semi-State Center Grove had probably more fans than we did at home (frigid night and snowing). It kind of is what it is at this point.
I would say there were more CG fans at BD in 2016 too. Game was delayed for rain and it was freezing cold

Again, Center Grove is losing tens of thousands of dollars due to poor road attendance from MIC schools
HCC is where the money is at. CG and Carmel would be wise to jump.
Center Grove joining the HCC would have no impact on Ben Davis' attendance at Semi State.

I’ll propose a solution: combine 6A into 4 Sectionals. The winners then play the semi-state game.
Same contenders will still likely be the final 4. No matter what, the top teams are going to be the top teams.

Is Warren still playing their QB they had from week 1?

Good, there will be plenty of seats available on both sides there. Won’t be the case at New Pal. (Hell, they may be lining up already.)
Remember, CG is the only MIC team that travels well! 😉

I’m excited to listen (Prob IHeart Radio), unless someone knows of a web broadcast???
Are both teams healthy this week?
Center Grove Sports Network should have the live broadcast. Ted Kitchell and Kevin Conrad do a great job every week. CG is blessed to have them.

He'd be a great choice to get that BD program turned around.
I think Coach Simmons has been doing a great job this year.
Back to Lafayette Jeff though, I would love to see a Jeff vs Carmel/Snider showdown to see who goes to Lucas Oil. Would be a hell of a game

No I didn’t. Some poster who shall remain nameless asked me if I had ever watched or steamed a MIC game. I live in the Chicago suburbs, therefore I have no need or want to. Stop being over sensitive.
You seem pretty sensitive considering you're continuing to interact with the guy on everything he posts. The amount of real estate he must own in your head is unreal

As an American, I fully support all of our democratic freedoms, to which free speech is included. But if my free speech questions another party’s free speech, that doesn’t give said party to act like a baby.
You implied people who go to MIC Football games don't have a life. Thats a pretty harsh comment on a high school football forum

Morgan Newton, Brandon Peters, and Gunner Kiel are 3 of the best qb's I ever saw play against CG. Overall though, I would have to go with Jaylon Smith or George Karlaftis. They were just studs every play

Most likely not
Did his injury end up being more severe than thought? Seemed like everyone thought it was more week to week.

If not THIS YEAR, then when?
FOUR weeks ago NC and BD were left for dead and WC and Carmel were thought to be the elite MIC teams. CG was thought to be biding it’s time.
Now it’s October and NC and BD are the two hottest teams in the league and WC/Carmel have putrid QB play...
Not sure what to think anymore.
Anyone wish to send advice on my 6A poll teams 3-10 this week? I’m all ears.
Im just curious if Carson Steele is going to play this year

McCulley is special, but he's definitely what makes that team go. BD had a pick six or they don't get 21 on the Giants. Ben Davis put the game to bed early and had a chance to really finish it out earlier than they did. LN's scrappy, though.
Are they running wing t with him? Haven't gotten a chance to check them out this year.
How asymmetrical should classes be?
