Southport hired Sean Little as HC. Looking him up, he was down in Louisville coaching the last few years. Was OC at Ballard and just missed a trip to the State Finals after a last second Semi State loss to Male HS (which is a power house down there). Was HC at Oldham County last two years. Inherited an 0-11 team. First year went 3-8. This year went 6-5 with 4 of the losses being 1 score games. The other loss was a blowout loss to Trinity.
Looks like Little knows how to turn a program around. Southport definitely needs that. It looks like Southport is wanting to invest to make football good especially with Perry Meridian taking some strides these last couple years.
