Clinton Prairie at Frankfort -- Gophers offense too good

Eastern at Northwestern -- Eastern in a closer one than people think

Blackhawk at Taylor--Taylor- Blackhawk still figuring things out

North Miami at Sheridan--Sheridan bounces back with big win

Riverton Parke at Carroll--Carroll keeps things rolling- saw em this summer, they better than people think they are

Tri Central at Wes Del--TC gets this one

Twin Lakes at Delphi--Twin Lakes moves to 2-0

This is the senior class that Eastern has been waiting for and talking about for several years!

Like I said, Knox is the team to beat. They returned a ton from a 3A sectional champ team. Nuff said.

I believe Peru is prob favorite to win TRC

I would not count out Maconaquah either. Cass prob few steps behind those teams.

Rochester is the team to beat in the TRC!

After a three-team tie for first place last year, the TRC is gonna to look a little different this year. Valley is out. Cass is in. Interested to hear what teams are returning and what they lost. Southwood and Northfield graduated quite a bit of talent at the skill positions if I'm not mistaken. Mac has speed all over the place. Wabash a three year starter at quarterback. North Miami is always tough to defend running the triple. I don't know much about Manchester other than they will have a new coach running the show. Not sure about Peru or Whitko either. I know Cass had a pretty good team last year, had a few key guys graduate but they got a three year starter at qb as well running the show so that always helps. Rochester returns a lot of experience but are gonna to need some guys to step up in order to have a good season. Who do you have this year as the champion? Any news or predictions on some of the teams as a lot of talent graduated from the conference last year.

I know the Kings are new, but I think it is common knowledge that this is the Zebras year!  Loaded!!!! I have heard about this class all the way down here in Walton.  Maybe the Braves will at least make you guys work up a sweat.  I see the Kings a middle of the conference team with the players they lost from last year.  As a fan it will be fun to go to some new fields.

Is Cass going to be able to make some noise in the conference this year, or did they just face a really bad Pioneer team?

Also, what happened to Tipton? I thought they graduated some talent, but I never saw them losing to Frankton.

Cass is better and pioneer is down.  Not to worry, you just need to focus on LCC for your sectional championship!

Maybe it's time that an uncatchable ball be added to the equation?

It would be interesting to study the amount of DPI calls are thrown on the offenses side of the field versus the defenses side of the field.  It seems that more are thrown to the offensive sideline, but I don't really have hard proof.  I only have a feeling from standing on the sidelines for over 25 years.

Finally, Offenses have been cheating for a long time

Just saw that also....  Harrison Lafayette is looking.  AP 5A #5 vs 2A #2.  That could sell some tickets, but getting a game plan together that quick would be interesting.

Lewis Cass and Delta scheduled a game on a Friday afternoon for that same Friday night a few weeks ago.

  7. It seemed that this move was going to happen sooner or later.

Mac is a good job, 3A school in a 1A conference.  They don't have any previous tournament success so that might be tough to turn around but you would think that you should have over .500 record even in a down year with that regular season schedule.

#8 Ryan Walsh, Andrean, get to know him, just tuned up Cass for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns.   We had our struggles with him as well, I think he got 160 some against us.

#3 Nick Flesher, does everything from, Outside WR, Slot, Jet, Wildcat.   Very good pass catcher

VERY BIG OL and Front 7.

We were very successful running the ball, but had 3 turnovers led to 20 points in our 10 pt loss 2 weeks ago.

Physical team, good players, good schemes, playing very well right now.

Size and strength of Andrean to much for the Kings.  I thought this years Cass team speed would be able to overcome their lack of size and strength upfront.  Unfortunately, I was mistaken and the Kings were physically beat.  The wet surface may have decreased the speed advantage a little.   I haven't seen Eastbrook this year.  I think you need a team like the Bombers (minus turnovers) to beat Andrean.  Cass was unable to get the passing game going due to the pressure Andrean put on them and I think the wet surface.  Couldn't run the ball consistently due to Andrean front 7 strength.

Good luck to the 59ers and the Panthers.

Who do  you think wins between Cass and Andrean?

Andrean is better than any team Cass played in their sectional.  It sounds like they have a good run offense.  I am not sure about their run defense considering the rushing stats the Bombers put on them.  Cass offense is very tough to stop with all of their weapons.  A lot of big play TD's even against West Lafayette.  I think a 80 yard run, a 60 yard pass and a 45 yard pass.

I will take the Kings by two scores
