To much speed, several big play scores from the Kings.

Congrats Cass and LCC
Turnovers and not getting off field in some key downs did us in
Spotted 13 points first 1:26 of game
Had 31 1st downs. 519 of offense 443 on the ground. Just couldn't get over the hump
I think Boone Grove turned it over in the first two possessions also. If Cass can stay away from the 59er hex in their first two possessions I think Harrell has it about right. +14 victory for the Kings

I think this game will be a big upset if Laville wins but the USA hockey team did beat the Russians. Cass speed will be tough to handle.

Andrean is big and nasty up front and in their front 8 as well.
They got their do everything stud Flescher back last week as well against Boone
Andrean held Boone Groves offense to 101 total yards.
Tough task for the Bombers this week. Go get'em Bombers!

Hey, it’s tournament time, all those records are thrown out the window. Both teams are 2-0 and if Lewis Cass comes in looking pass the Lancers, they may be in trouble. LaVille plays very physical and have some very skilled kids, so I wouldn’t count them out quite yet. If they can prevent Lewis Cass from getting the big play scores and protect the ball, it will be a game.
Although I agree with your statement that last sentence has been a problem for teams against the Kings including teams that are better than Laville.

Anyone out there with a recommendation on places to eat on the way to Walton, IN.?
Looks like LaVille to take on #1 Lewis Cass for a Sectional title.
Early precincts indicate Kings by 28 points.
as always, the game is better
from_the_sidelines007
I agree with 28+ Cass victory

We got throttled by a more physically dominant team. No more no less. They wanted it more and took it. Eurit is a great player, but if you ask me the most important player on Cass is #30 Humphrey. We couldn’t block him at LB and he was dominant as a blocker at TE. He was a man among boys last night.
Full credit to Cass and hopefully it opened some eyes for us of what it will take to be successful next year.
100% agree!

Also, Cass is REALLY good. Hand them the trophy now.
Sounds good to me!

I will admit I didn't see a running clock coming in this game. No match physically or "team speed". Touchdown on first play from scrimmage for the Kings!

Does this win tonight make the Kings look past the rest of the field? Lavilles passing game looked good tonight!! That what it will take to beat Cass, something Pioneer could not do.
I think West Lafayette has a pretty good passing game.

We are down a few Heavyweights from previous years. We may need to recruit a couple Rouch's from North Newton for our squad.
Now that is what I call quality recruiting!!

The two fastest kids on the field will be the lewellen boys.
Im not even a Pioneer guy but Damn. Ill put money on Ezra and Addai to beat any kid on Cass.
Total "team" speed. After the game we can have all the starters race.

Cass is the favorite here and according to everyone on here other than AG and ultimate it isn’t close. Cass split the top votes in 2a poll so coaches think the same thing as well.
If you beat arguably the top team in 3A you should be the favorite. Cass is right where they want to be at the top so pressures on!
This years team loves the "pressure" it is in their DNA. I agree with your quote 100%!!!!

I have to agree with you Jonesy. The Kings haven't accomplished anything even close to what Pioneer has during state tournament. They have their team at full strength and are ready to get things rolling. They have speed everywhere and a line to go with it.
Pioneer doesn't have anywhere near the speed of Cass.

Knox? That's a test.
I'd pick them against Western, Renn, Tipton or LCC.
Cass actually beat two of those teams you listed. Knox SOS 214

I don't think SOS will be a factor. Pioneer has experience at playing this kind of schedule and still improving during the season for the tournament. I just think Cass is a better football team, if healthy.

Nice job and congrats to the Kings of Lewis Cass, your 2019 Hoosier Conference Champions.
1. Cass
West 4 wins 1 Loss in 2019 week 9
Best of luck to all in tournament.
Yes but it was the big one!

After last night I think that if Cass is healthy Pioneer is in trouble.

Pioneer you are next!!

My guess is that they don't mind playing at Cass and, if they're healthy, it's probably just as well that they do it in the 1st round.
I would assume Cass feel the same way.

I'll wait to see it to before I believe it. Went 8-1 last season then got blasted by Lewis Cass in sectionals by 50+.
And it wasn't as close as the score indicated. I haven't seen the comets this year but if they are similar to last year Eastbrook will have absolutely no problem with the Comets.

Don’t go counting those chickens friend. There are some pretty good teams left in the north, that definitely could spoil your bold prediction.
Eastbrook, Luers, Boone Grove, Rensy and Andrean.
