Last year they were a 2-6 team lmao they literally only beat Princeton and Washington.

so far this year they have beat HH…held Southridge to 13 points in a losing effort…..they also just went toe to toe with a VERY good Linton team.

linton probably could win handily against Mater Dei…they are looking great.  And if linton looks like they can beat Mater De then I’m sure Boonville can handle bosse/central/Harrison

Boonville has some studs on their team and their defense is playing solid right now

You are over here saying Harrison and bosse could beat them by 2 scores or more….and that they need an 0-5 central team to upset memorial or Reitz….IF ANYONE IS GOING TO UPSET MEMORIAL OR REITZ IN S24 ITS BOONVILLE

i usually like your comments but come on man.  Your argument makes zero sense right now given what we have seen these teams do so far

Linton could handily beat MD? Interesting…very interesting

  2. Nice win, Tigers. I’m not surprised with the 22 but I’m shocked by the 6. I didn’t think anyone would hold the MD offense to 6 points. The Memorial D looked very good. The MD season is starting to look like the recent IU bball seasons. They start off with so much promise only to kick me in the nuts and spit on me once things get going. Good luck the rest of the way.

  3. It’s that time of the season again. The Catholic battle to see who’s been to church more this past year. I don’t like MD in a battle of the mascots, but i think they win by a TD or 2. Normally I will root for my Catholic brethren, but not this week. This week they are cake eaters once again. The only good things the east side of Evansville has ever produced are putt putt golf n games and lake sports and they managed to kill both of them off. They need to stick to soccer and eating grey poupon, and leave the real man sports to us ski lovin/God fearing westsiders

  4. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Last night it seemed to go in reverse. I was in a very dark place after the MD loss, but IU came back and won their pillow fight of a game against a fellow big ten bottom feeder so I perked back up to end the night.

Nice win VL, you made the wildcat defense look like they were playing checkers while you were playing chess for a lot of the night. Good luck the rest of the way.

let's not forget who has primacy over the last decade.  lots of injuries, and ihsaa bs, but expect  certain team to make some noise when it counts

Sounds like you’re talking about the New Harmony Rappites. They’ve put up with a TON of Ihsaa bullshit and if my math is correct, they haven’t lost a game this decade.

From what I've heard yes. I guess inspiring Ray Lewis videos don't get you ready for games....

We’ll that’s the problem right there. I like me a good ol Ray Lewis speech as much as the next person, but if you truly want to be inspired you need to listen to an Al Bundy speech. One of those will make you feel like you’re Rudy all game long.

Looks like I hit a sore spot with Sir Screagle (by the way it's Screaming Eagles.... this guy must be a millennial or something). Now excuse me while I admire this 2021 state championship trophy with my signed Brady Allen poster.

Titan glory hole, your trophy and poster have nothing on my stone cold Steve Austin signed PBR beer can and my back to back to back championships on tecmo super bowl…keep trying.

I will make certain his Dad is aware of your praise, not certain if he is a GID follower or not.  Tyler has come a long way.  He has really put in the time to get stronger and quicker, and his motor never stops.  While he has never been fast, his first 2-3 steps are very quick, which allows him to get through the O-line before he can be blocked, often untouched.

    Travel safely MP.

Oh please don’t pass that along to Jake. That’s the last thing he needs!

  9. This post has now put me in the “contributor” stage! I have so many people to thank but such little time. First off I want to thank my mom. She’s always been a big inspiration and gave me the confidence I needed to reach for the stars. Now she doesn’t know anything about the GID but I’m sure she would be proud. Next I want to thank my wife and kids for giving me next to no time for anything…especially mowing the grass (one of my favorite past times). They played a crucial role in this achievement. Lastly I want to thank all the haters out there that said I couldn’t do it and made me even more determined to post. Go MD and the SIAC! America’s team needs to bring home the sectional crown once again.

I’m a day late and a dollar short, I’m just now seeing MD took on Linton Stockton. Well done. The way folks were crowing, folks made it sound like they had a straight path to Indy.

A lot of people were drinking that Linton punch. They have a good team but MD was pretty good too.

Before you make drunk comments before bed maybe you should click to see who is making the comments about GS this year…(Hint: it’s the other teams fans who are the most bold)

Oh I’ve been on the GID for a looooong time and guess what? (Hint: the GD accounts have been the most bold) You must not have been here during the peak of the dumb comments around 2015 and 2016. Nice try son

I never said that it never happened.  I just said it's rare.  And this pretty much proves my point.  No winners last 2 years.  Only 4 representatives in the 30 championship games in the past 5 years.  I'm pretty sure if I go back and look I'd find far more instances of the teams representing that area getting smacked around by Indy area teams in the tournament.

Lastly, the only thing I said specifically about GS is that I hope you're right because I want to see Brady Allen do well.  Not sure how I can be "flat WRONG" about stating what I hope.

Don’t pay any attention to that GS love fest. Every year they think they have Barry sanders, emmitt smith, and Tom Brady on their team. When they don’t make it to state they get real quiet…and hope no one remembers all the comments they made about being as good as Alabama or Ski. Most of them think they should have won at least 30 football state titles in the last 9 years.
