In my opinion, I believe that Linton would be the best team on Lutheran's schedule this year. I can't speak about the Wolves. Of course, Lutheran has played better competition, IMO, week in and week out. That is the biggest difference in the schedule as there is really not much of an off week in the ICC (Monrovia this year) compared to Riverton Parke and Fountain Central this year in the WRC. This should be a great game and once again I feel like turnovers will play a big part. I'll be rooting for the Falcons, but like I said earlier, I feel like this might be Lutheran's year. Either way, I would love to be at this game with two great 1A programs, with history, going at it. Good luck to both teams!

Indiana SRN will be webcasting our game LIVE! on the internet this Friday.  Attached is a placard for your game to help spread the word.  The game will be featured on the IHSAAtv website and on the IndyStar Friday Night LIVE! webcast.
Please let your students, fans, alumni, and parents know they can see the game by going to this link:  www.IndianaSRN.org.
The players can also go to this same link to see the game On Demand during the next week.

Can anyone provide a video or audio link for this game if there is one?

  2. Both teams will be ready for this fridays rematch.. NV will have all their starters back for this game which means the offense and defense will be firing on all cylinders..Crabtree will have them ironed out ready to play!! Moore will have his team lined out as well..wolves looking for their first sectional championship in school history and the Falcons preparing to bring another one home.

This game will be tough for both team..so who has the most heard?!!! Who wants it more?!! I see NV with another win over PH by another close game. Gates open at 5:30... so if want a good seat and parking you better arrive early.

Felt bad that they only had 15 people in the bleachers, after the long year those kids have had they deserve better!

I felt the same way when NV played Fountain Central...so used to seeing bleachers full and the only had maybe 30-40 people in their stands not counting the band!! I'm sure they made most money from the visiting teams fans....so sad to see this

  4. PH over Cloverdale by 40

    NV over Covington by 21

    Seeger over SV by 14

    SP over RP by 21

    Attica over FC by 35

As of the fart sandwich the juicier the better...let's hear it Tanka!!!

I was once told Brian Crabtree was wrestling 2 Grizzly bears and sent them both to the Veterinarian!!! Then came out and beat Brian Moore in a game of skill on the football field.

  5. Once agian NV walks away with WRC championship. Great game to close out the regular season.  Now on to sectionals... Great day to be a Falcon!!! Great job Coach Crabtree,Lopez,Blank,Davis another great regular season!!!

On another note for all the Falcon fans former NV coach Mark Bless took his 6A Avon team 9-0 for the season. Hoosier Crossroads Conference out right champion with a win over Nobelsville tonight. Great job Coach Bless!!

With the weather condition today do you see any teams being hurt or helped with the sloppy fields?

RP defense will benefit from this rain.. dont see PH throwing the ball to much in this unless RP stops the run. Still think PH will win but by how much

NV will most likely take it to 35 and put JV in to avoid injuries to starters. NV dont always play the best in the rain on other fields... but what team really do play good in the rain?

If FC can control the run they may stay in this game a bit longer the anticipated but NV comes out on top.

SV may take this one from Seeger but Seeger is coming on strong in second half of regular season. Fight of the 2A WRC teams. Pray for a healthy outcome.

Covington will win this one on the ground with Brown..

All in all I dont see a lot of passing tonight.. i see more twisted ankles and injuries coming out of week 8 unless this rain dies out before pregame warmups.

Good luck to all teams and prayers to all to come out injury free

You’re right woody, I’m sensitive over you being crowned the WRC champion once again. I didn’t bring up a JV game, Coach Boone did, I’m replying to you guys on the smallest knowledge I hear via my boy and his buddies. Maybe I took your post out of context!

Time for me to get back in my office and make some energy to light up the scoreboard Friday as I bet the wolves try to score 70 on the ol panthers.

Ok so your most likely going to win this friday night against RP.... why would you score 70 on them? Are you all trying to beat Pioneers top scoring team record from last year? Why not after 35 you put in the ones that didnt get to play last friday? Dont know why a coach would want to score 70 on a team you know you can beat!  I'm sure Ctabtree has enough respect for other coaches and teams that he would and will not run the scores up just to boost his ego... so many games NV could have put up 60+ points but wants to get the JV in for playing time. Just dont know why a coach with such respect would think a large point speed on a less dominant team is justifiable. No points are proven when you tun score up on a lesser opponent.

Last years 1A state game is a great example Not saying NV was a lesser opponent...NV faught hard to get to that state game. A great Pioneer team scored 60 on a good NV team and I dont know what their coach was thinking... they had the starters in the whole game...what to get back at NV for the lose in 14 or just to set a state game record? But to run a score up like that was just not justifiable.

My little rant this morning. Why are so many  people obsessed with Moore changing jobs and schools to coach. Isn’t the goal in life to put yourself in the best possible position for your family and yourself? I would assume most of us here have took promotions, better paying jobs, better benefits so we could be successful and support our family. If you haven’t I’m sorry.

Look at all the coaches you know. How many have stayed at one school? If Sanders was moving on from RP to another school you would hear nothing about it. No disrespect to Sanders but the program isn’t successful.  People don’t like when Moore moves because he is successful. Once again he has put himself in that position so schools, teams, parents and fans want him. Wonder how many here that bash him would change their way of thinking if he was coming to their school?

Rant is over, let’s talk about 2019 football add something constructive to the forum. Let’s get some actually good football conversation going.

Ok let's look at collage prospects from the WRC.

Great football game. PH  shot their self in the foot many times in the  first half. Should of had 2 maybe 3 more touchdown in the half. Not taking anything away from NV so don’t start jumping all over me. Seemed like PH could move the ball at will, just didn’t finish.

Defense made some adjustments at half that helped. I think sectionals will come down to who is healthy.

Also the only person you is saying PH can compete with Linton is the person who likes to troll. He will continue to do so as long as everyone feeds into it.

Great game. Now get ready for next week!

Both teams had to make adjustments. Ph had the passing game down for sure. Quarterback for PH is a beast..complete package. If PH and NV meet agian I'm sure it will be another great game with a shuttle bus to bring fans from parking lots to the game.

Also who remembers Saturday morning Coaches Corner? I believe they use to go to Janet’s? In Montezuma and recap all the Friday night games. Jim Jerome did an awesome job with that. Coaches would exchange game tapes there also. Most coaches would bring one or two players with them. We got our 15 mins of fame. We would all sit around the locker room eat donuts and talk about all the “great” plays we made, while  we listened to the radio show. I believe they ended this around 93/94?  Wish we still had something like that now. There is my blast from the past.

This is one thing I wish the radio would bring back.Any of them that cover the WRC games. We would always have sat morning practice or swim and lift, check injuries and listen to coaches corner. They would always recap the games and ask the coaches questions. Some player were able to go with coaches but not all the time. It was great to hear your name on the radio boosted conference for some.. but if you think back not one coach bosted about a player or team they was all humble about it. They may have givin a shout out to another player or team..like we need to watch or contain a certain someone or watch the blitz from another it was a great listen. Just like listening to spotlight on the WRC on 103.1

  13. Yes I believe you are correct. I had coach wheat for 1 year then Mark Bless came in and started turning the program around for NV. I myself would love to hang out with some of the players from back in the day from the different teams and just talk about old times and the fun we all had.. on the field we were enemies but off the field we joked around.
