It appears the Falconmarts learned a valuable lesson:  don’t get into a shootout with the Wolfs.  Someone said the loser of that game would win the sectional…I want some action on that please!

I said this. Defensively NV has came a long way since the Linton game. PH has so much talent  across the board, it’s hard to stop all of it. NV did get a pass rush though which was the first I had seen them produce all year. Next time these two teams meet it will be a very different ball game. NV HAS TO hold the ball. They know it too. Also seemed PH added another coach to the sidelines? Only source on that is my 👀..

  2. Game of week will be at Gibson field .

I think PH has two very capable qbs to run their offense. NV’s secondary has been shredded this season. The defensive line for NV needs to be dominant up front or this game will get ugly real quick. Offensively I like NV against that PH defense. Lots of big plays will happen Friday.
    Prediction.

42-21 PH. Loser of this game will win in sectional.

  3. If the Wolves go down this Friday, the train would be derailed. We would then get a excellent football game the following Friday when PH travels to Gibson Field. I remember NV beating a very good FC team in 2016 at home. They ran out the play clock and kept getting first down after first down. It was mentally defeating for the mustangs watching the play clock dwindle snap after snap… Who knows what Crabtree has dialed up. One week at a time as the old saying goes. Goodluck to all teams this week and stay healthy! ☘️☘️

I was not at this game but heard that the Falcons were throwing the ball all over the place late in the game up 30 plus points and then were kicking onsiders after that.. Not sure how true that is but that doesn't sit well with people when you're up 30 plus...

The JV was probably throwing the ball all over the varsity lol. Let’s be honest here. Crabtree could have put 100 on any team he wanted to a few years back. Don’t think he’s starting that trend this year.

  5. Seeger

    RP

NV. Closer than expected. That defense played well last week. BUT has still given up more than 200 points this year. Offense is no problem for this team. Maybe the QB situation has been handled in Cayuga.

    Covington.

I like SV in this one. No love for the wolves coming from me.

    Interesting Friday in the WRC:

Like a fine wine, Every season Herbie and the Pats get better with age.

Is it time for Attica to Covid-out again?

    RP = pretenders

D1’s scored 33 against a good team.  The visor has them gelling at the right time.  I’ve heard the D1’s admin are scrambling around to find a football scoreboard next week that has room for a 3rd digit in the points column for both home and away.

I’m being told the Wolfs played without their QB the entire 2nd half…and still scored 42 points…wow!

I couldn’t tell if NV looked better, or RP was just bad.
Shocked at the PH score… That will not be their last regular season loss of the year… Can Moore keep the train on the tracks?

So often the sequel does not live up to the first meeting between teams.  Each game is different, yielding different results.  With that being said, it's hard to envision either one of these teams blowing the other out.  Most expect it to be nip & tuck throughout.

This game will be decided by one factor and one factor only- Can Parke Heritage manage NV's run game?  Everything else is secondary.  At some point, in order to win high school football games at this level, you have to be able to run the ball and defend the run.  If they can slow the NV run game down, they have a great chance.   How many points their offense can score is insignificant if they are unable to do that.

As always, you hope injuries do not swing the game one way or another.

Since I'm a contrarian by nature, I predict something will happen to make the sequel not as interesting as the first meeting.   Since everyone is expecting a ton of points and a close game, I'll go the opposite direction

    Falcons 28-14

**Sorry for partial repeat of my post.

    Is reb making the trip??

NV will be healthy and prepared for this one. PH will be ready for vengeance. PH will score first again like last time, but nv will get the final laugh again.. 35-24 Falcons...

If Ben Blank is wearing socks up to his knees, it’s over for the Wolves!

I have heard the NV PA announcer was voted the loudest announcer “in the conference 16 years in a row.” The concession stand is pretty good too.

Rumor has it you can save your $5 admission, drive to the Burger King parking lot, and hear everything that happens via the PA, including every single “falcon first down”,  while using the $5 you saved to order a whopper,  fries, and a drink from the BK app. Seems like an oddly specific rumor.

I always pick Crabtree, regardless of opponent. If there is a way to win, he will find it.

P.s Does anyone have any TP?

You can park at forest glen and hear the PA’s voice.  First downs this week will be sponsored by the “make america great again foundation.”

I miss my dear friend Joe Kane. Joe if you’re out there just know I miss you 🥺.

  9. PH Wolves = quick screen and blitz.

Looking forward to seeing how physical NV’s DB’s play.. PH likes to air it out a lot..

I do like the rotation of Martin and Brick House Reynolds, Martin hits you with speed, then Reynolds can and will run over you. Should be a good showdown Friday Night in Cayuga.

Will Crabtree be able to keep the PA announcers voice down? Who knows, Go Falcons!

    NV 42 PH 28
