I feel like the MSC was a lot more competitive this year than in the past. 4 pretty solid teams in the Braves, Dragons, Pirates, and Lions. I’ll go back to week 2, the Braves got off to a slow start and found themselves down 0-14 at the half. They then scored 21 unanswered points to secure the victory over the pirates. The Braves held M. Lukes to 10 carries for 24yds with 22 of those coming on a TD run. I think the Braves get the offense rolling early this Friday and play some more great D and are victorious 28-14

BC started subbing early in the 3rd qtr. I’m assuming he is referring to Sburg keeping their starters in the rest of the game. If I were a coach and a team was beating me 39-0, running clock has started, I would start subbing as soon as they did.

Game of the week: Mitchell and Perry. Two teams who have hit on some wins past couple weeks. Get right just in time for the tournament.
upset of the week: I’m going the hawks over north Davies. Ground pound the ball tonight.
btown....hoe many undefeated seasons this make?
Charlestown.....how does Eastern draw look?
silver creek....next season must be the year of the panther
nh ......little down this year, but enough to beat on Clark
west wash.....real impressed with their season
paoli.....how we feeling about the new coach?
perry....this will be a grinder
valley.....go hawks
I believe the 11th undefeated season for Coach May and the Braves.
IF we win tonight

No....Bosse will have their hands full stopping North Harrison’s ground game all night long. MV / SR could be an interesting game.
I wasn’t impressed with North Harrison at all when they played Btown. I don’t see an Evansville team having any trouble with them.

^^^^^^^^^^^^Bosse is not the best defense in the bottom half. I'll take SR over Bosse in round 2. GS will be tested all they want vs Salem. Salem has 3 losses to Silver Creek(4a 7-1), B'town Central(3a 8-0), and Charlestown(3a 6-2). It looks like there were in the game with BC and C'town, spread was a little further apart vs SC. I still expect GS to win, and may even beat them handily, but roadtripping to Salem wont be a cakewalk by any means IMO. I still expect GS vs HH in the top half, and HH is playing good ball, but its hard to beat a team twice, which was the case last season for HH, although this team is senior laden and I believe will get past GS once more this season.
For what it’s worth the Salem QB was out against Silver Creek....

Braves win 22-13. In my personal opinion the game wasn’t as close as the score indicates.

Brownstown 2 way players were really running out of gas, but held on to beat Seymour 34-28. QB Derek Thompson had almost 300 yards rushing and 4 TDs
33 carries, 305yds
new school single game record. Well deserved, he’s a great kid!

This years Brownstown team is young and inexperienced. They should get better as the year goes on. I think they replaced somewhere around 17 starters. They had the ball in the red zone 3 times on Ctown but couldn’t capitalize. Was only down 14-7 midway through the 3rd. Ctown has a solid squad though. Good luck to them!!
