Replace a lot but still have 15 seniors this year that went undefeated in JV for a few years. They also played the 2nd half in most varsity games last year. I’ve watched some CT film and I believe the Braves will be alright….😉

Should be a good one. One of the Braves strengths is their secondary so will hopefully be a good match up.

Brownstown 35-0 over Corydon. The Braves should get better every week as they get experience. Big test next week vs Charlestown.

Andrean is looking tough this year. As a Brownstown alumni, with a freshman on the team, I’ll be excited if we can make it to play them.

Well you did see our worst offensive performance of the year. Glad we could get that out of our system. The boys were off school all week for fall break and that always seems to do us no favor during week 9. Hats off to scottsburg, they played their butts off and were a 1 loss team ranked #8 in 3a. Last night was exactly what we needed to end the year. The varsity got to play an entire game and it was a hard hitting contest. Good luck to all teams in 2a starting this coming week!!

That enrollment stuff I’m not sure about. I don’t keep up with that stuff. Soccer has just never really been a thing here.

As a Brownstown alumni I appreciate all the support for Brownstown. Coach May definitely deserves a trip to Lucas Oil. As a parent of a freshman it has been fun watching this group play this year. The seniors have been great leaders and role models. I’m looking forward to the tournament and seeing what they can accomplish!

This years Brownstown team is young and inexperienced. They should get better as the year goes on. I think they replaced somewhere around 17 starters. They had the ball in the red zone 3 times on Ctown but couldn’t capitalize. Was only down 14-7 midway through the 3rd. Ctown has a solid squad though. Good luck to them!!

I feel like the MSC was a lot more competitive this year than in the past. 4 pretty solid teams in the Braves, Dragons, Pirates, and Lions. I’ll go back to week 2, the Braves got off to a slow start and found themselves down 0-14 at the half. They then scored 21 unanswered points to secure the victory over the pirates. The Braves held M. Lukes to 10 carries for 24yds with 22 of those coming on a TD run. I think the Braves get the offense rolling early this Friday and play some more great D and are victorious 28-14

BC started subbing early in the 3rd qtr. I’m assuming he is referring to Sburg keeping their starters in the rest of the game. If I were a coach and a team was beating me 39-0, running clock has started, I would start subbing as soon as they did.

I believe the 11th undefeated season for Coach May and the Braves. IF we win tonight

I wasn’t impressed with North Harrison at all when they played Btown. I don’t see an Evansville team having any trouble with them.

For what it’s worth the Salem QB was out against Silver Creek....

Braves win 22-13. In my personal opinion the game wasn’t as close as the score indicates.
