Qualification: Must be considered highly qualified by meeting one of the following qualifications: have completed two years of college, hold a two-year degree (or) pass a state or local assessment. Duties: Applicants for the position must be able to perform the following duties: Effectively implement physical education instruction and assessment as assigned. This includes following a curriculum guide and teaching the physical education academic standards as outlined by the Indiana Department of Education. Effectively communicate with all stakeholders regarding student performance. Effectively monitor student learning. This would include but is not limited to, observing and recording all student data related to classroom activities and assessments, providing student interventions as indicated by the data collected through observations, communicating with stakeholders regarding student learning and behavior needs. Effectively assume duties associated with classroom management (i.e. attendance records/reporting, grade records/reporting, lesson planning, parent/guardian communication, etc.) Effectively implement school and board adopted policies, procedures and practices. Effectively implement other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Assistant Principal. Compensation: Per statement of benefits for classified classroom teachers.
