Is Shane Falco playing QB?

A discussion has begun with the the SAC ADs and football coaches about considering a division based Football conference. The idea: Create more chances for schools to schedule outside of Fort Wayne to better to prepare them for tournament play or to give other a chance to schedule competition more at their level. I had along talk with a SAC AD about this at the holiday tournament and here is the idea
Schools will play two open dates, the four in their league as, plus two schools from the other league. On school will be a "locked" opponent (BD and BL ex.) and one will rotate every two years. On the last week of the regular season. You will play whomever is the the at them same place from the other division. (First vs First, Last vs Last ) With home field or neutral location to be discussed
Big School
Snider, Northrop, Carroll, Homestead, BD
Small School
North, South, Wayne, Concordia, BL
Sample schedule: 2020 for Big Schools
Snider Northrop Carroll BD Homestead
Open Open Open Open Open

Personally, I love it, I do think you would miss some of the more traditional every year games. But I do think it gives school such as South, North and Northrop to put Ws on the board, which can make those programs better. What do the Members of the GD think?

I feel that the SAC goes when comes respect an animosity it changes from year to year and from program to program. For example One coach may look at Snider with the up most respect, but when I have talked to some folks at other schools, they have pure animosity for the the panthers . I feel that in the SAC we see a lot of this respect vs animosity in coaches, not programs. Again that just interviews and conversations that I have done with coaches, school officials and fans.

School Board will vote on Feb 11 for turf but all members are a yes, formality at this point

It depends if they keep it 4 or make it 5 team with Goshen or one of the NLC schools or make North go with the North Central schools. I think they will keep the SAC together though, I just think those are some other ways to cut it.

Yes, Spuller Stadium will have turf next fall. It will be great for not just football.
