  1. Caston @ Triton- Caston has a few good athletes that impressed me but they still don't have a chance here. 35-14

Knox @ Culver-  Biggest lopsided game of the week. Knox looking forward to week 4 against the bluejays. 56-7

North Judson @ CMA- CMA looking for revenge and I don't know if Judson can win this one without 2 of their best players still out. Hope I'm wrong! 28-20

Pioneer @ LaVille- No idea on this one but Pioneer is trending in the right direction. 15-14

Winamac @ North White- Winamac does well against their old MWC foes. 27-6

    Oh boy, here we go....

If no North Judson fans respond to this, I think Coach Lambert has a hush order in place on all players and fans this week because that topic usually has potential to take over a thread.

Honestly, we just try not to acknowledge much from him. Otherwise, we'll hear a story from 2004 where if their top 2 6th graders didn't get hurt, they would of won state in 2005.

I thought during the tournament the IHSAA requires the host school to maintain neutrality. Shouldn't that mean cannons, whistles, bells, smoke, fireworks and other noisemakers and "special effects" be disallowed? What is the rule and who is responsible for enforcing it?

They didn't do the cannon this year because the school said it was due to "insurance".

As far as the bell, that doesn't get rang during the game, so no rules ever get broken.

  4. Going into the game last year I did not think it would be close and it wasn't. AC's team speed was too much for Judson and AC took it to them.

This year, I don't expect the same outcome. Lambert is a "one game at a time" coach, but you know they've been eyeing this rematch since the end of last year. I expect it to be a barn burner and hope the jays to sneak out the win.

    Judson: 36-34

I am having flashbacks from last year, hearing how good Judson is supposed to be before they got taken to the woodshed at home.  AC could put a running clock on every opponent in the playoffs and it wouldn't be good enough for the people in North Judson. Until it happens to them of course.  They put up 6 points in the first half against Triton a few weeks ago, they are not some juggernaut team.

Yes AC has taken a step back from last year, there are like 5 seniors that play its still a fairly young team. That doesn't mean anything for the rest of the north.

Trying to figure out where your rant came from?? Must of been waiting all off-season to talk some more smack.

This person(not even sure if he’s a Judson guy) posted that Judson may be the best team he’s “seen”. Then went in to list all the ways they aren’t that great. So take a step back and take a deep breath, AC is still the favorites in the north.

Triton was 3rd best team on north!  Has a REAL shot at beating North Judson if Schuh wouldn’t have gotten hurt!  Took opening drive right down field 7 minute drive and punched it in!  Shively did his best and played his ass off but when they know your running it, with not much other options, it’s hard to succeed!  With 9 minutes to go Triton had the ball first and 10 on Judson 40 down 12-6 with a legit chance!  Then it went downhill Congratulations to Triton on a good season!

Triton came in with a great gameplan against Judson and Judson seemed to come out flat. Triton's coach really made a crucial mistake when the score was 12-6. They had 3rd and 6 inside the 50 and decided to throw the ball deep instead of using the 2 downs to try to pound out 6 yards.

I think the final will be around 56-14. I honestly wasn't overly impressed with Triton from our games and the film breakdown we have done. We just didn't have the cats to stop you guys. Schuh wasn't overly effective against us last week other than 1 long field reversal and looked like he was playing injured, not as explosive as the regular season. In game planning I was more worried about your QB, I just don't think that you guys utilize him enough. It will be close for a quarter, but I think that Judson's physicality will be too much for you guys in the end.

I agree that they don't use their QB enough. He seemed like a really good athlete that could take over and he was barely utilized.

  8. West Noble at Knox- 35-21. Knox has to get stops on D but believe they are the better team.

Andrean at LaVille- 20-14. Being a HNAC homer here and going LaVille. They have to play perfect to win but I give them that chance.

South Central (UM) at Culver- 42-6. Not much of a game for Culver. They can start the next round prep early.

Triton at North Judson- 35-7. I look for Triton to try to control the clock and the Jays to fix their defensive miscues from the first game.

Heard Plummer is done for year. Colin Czarnicki is back up which is gifted athlete comes in. Kid can play and Laville wins by 21 at minimum

Yeah, the backup still looked like a decent athlete and the one ball he threw deep to 21 looked great.  LaVille wins this easily 42-0.

Tell me about it, I enjoyed seasons of seeing judson lose and lose a lot t about 8 to 10 years ago, then I grew up and realized their kids and they are trying. Winamac won't be down too long though.

Has zero to do with the kids. I just enjoy your excuses and theories when they lose a game.
