Friendly confines of Inman is one way to put it...LOL.

One of my favorite high school moments was walking out of the visiting tunnel there as we were going out to start the game, middle school kids giving us the finger and adults yelling at us. Loved that atmosphere. Didn’t love brewer yelling at us and punching a hole through his hat after the game. 😆

    The blowouts

    Lincoln over Central

    Castle over Harrison

    the competitive games

    Memorial over MD

    Reitz over North

    Upset special!!!!!!

Bosse pulls it off over Jasper.

I’m at the IU game and just read this and thought jasper lost again. You scared me!

Most all “injuries” were cramps. It’s been bad.

Reitz gets the ball with over 10 minutes left, eats up over 9 minutes, and kicks a FG with just over 1 minute left. 23-7 Reitz

I hope everyone is alright. This heat is no joke right now.

Harrison has run 6 plays and has negative 25 yards. Only positive play was a Reitz lined up in the neutral zone. Harrison is really young.

Halftime at Romain. Running clock second half is assured.

Any idea yardage for Harrison at the half?

Jasper’s just shot themselves in the foot a couple times - especially snapping it over the punter’s head in their own territory with 0:28 on the clock.  Ouch.

The offsides on 4th and 5 was another killer.

On the bright side for them, I think they’re winning the LOS and have shown they can move the ball when they execute.

It’ll be a competitive 2nd half and the game certainly isn’t over.

That locker room at halftime couldn’t have been fun. 😆

Why is Vincennes not talked about here as a potential SIAC champion? They beat MD last year. Lost to Reitz by 3. Could have beat Memorial, and close games against North and Castle. Bring back SIAC player of the year at QB and only lost 3 or 4 starters. Seems like a team that’s loaded with returnees and doesn’t get much attention.

If teams are overlooking VL this year they are crazy. I have them second behind Reitz.

Reitz (pretty unanimous, questions on the RB, I’m assuming Davis will be looked at)

VL (8 starters return on the Defense, Hunt returning is huge for the Alices)

North (Returns 15 starters 7 on Offense and 8 on Defense, losing St. Louis is huge, but Rucker has promise)

Next in line (no particular order)

Castle (Questions on the O, Defense takes some major hits)

Memorial (Trenches are hit very hard due to graduation, lots of underclassmen skill players)

Jasper (Still need to check the returning starters, Jasper finds a way somehow)

MD (Completely new offense, as the Wildcats loses 9 starters, Defense should be ok next year)

Even though we both have VL as 2, I still have questions about them. We saw this year that they have the potential to be great, but then they turn around and look mediocre to bad.
I think it would be fun to see them make a deep playoff run.

I think Jasper has got another year left until a shot at the SIAC and a deep run. I think 2023 is going to look a lot like 2022.

MD losing a ton but they seem to reload instead of rebuild. I don’t think we will see them at Lucas Oil next year but then again I wouldn’t be shocked.

Memorial will probably do what memorial does. Turn it on when it matters most. That coaching staff has the ability like no other to get everything clicking come tournament time.
