Jacon and Ab were pretty good ball players back in the day, but I wasn't aware that either had won Mr. Football.
Jake too!

For 1A your mock up makes the most geographical sense that I've seen. They'll probably gerrymander differently however.
South Newton @ Taylor Round 1.... I can feel it.

A few quick questions regarding the GC program?
What are the primary components of the overall strategy to get this program up off the mat and heading back in the right direction?
Is there any football talent currently in the school?
Is program awareness in the halls growing as a result of the coaching change?
Have you had an opportunity to assess the feeder and youth systems?
Will you be making any changes to the uniforms?
What are your initial goals for the program?
Is the community involved?
Is the administration following thru on the commitments they made to support the program rebuild?
Is GC planning on remaining in the HHC for the long term?
What was it that drew you to this opportunity?
Looking forward to your responses.
Why hi-jack a thread about a 1A kid who has an amazing opportunity!
Congrats Dawson!

Tough break for Cass - 2 kids on Jr. All State team and senior O-lineman/D End that could have started for any team we played. Yet not a single player here. So coaching vendettas against other teams get in the way or were the players on a 4-6 Logansport, 5-6 Twin Lakes, or 6-6 Judson teams just that good?
You listed Logansport, Twin Lakes, and North Judson. None of these teams had a player selected over yours at his position. So what is the point of mentioning them?

There are also players on the region squad that did not make the IFCA ALL State team. Would it make sense that if you are selected on an All STATE team, you would be good enough to make a region team?
I think in the fact All-State teams are selected by class, and the Region has No Class. It is all encompassing. So I do understand what your saying, I do not think that argument holds much water.
I have been going to this meeting for longer than these kids we are voting on have been alive. I have had some very deserving kids and managers who did not make this team. It does not take away from their success and accomplishments. He is a heck of a football player I am sure. You do not get those type of accolades if you are not.

He's allegedly good at the footballing, people talk. Been a long time since anything like that level of offer was around these parts. Realistically I can't think of one. Lots of kids I thought could garner it, but rare air for sure.
These parts not count Cass County? Where Mr. Football and Notre Dame player Jack Kiser resides? They are a conference opponent for the Hoosier.
