Did anyone receive their copy of Indiana football digest? Any articles about HHC team? Any pre season predictions or awards for HHC players?

I saw in my local paper that 9 owls got all conference. Congrats to all of them. Is there a place to see the entire list of HHC All Conference?

Any S&C done incorrectly can cause injuries. Other issues cause injuries as well. Turf, personal make up of a kid, lifting more than you are capable, over use, bodies not getting proper rest between seasons for multiple sport athletes, etc. Injuries are more prone to happen in football. Same S&C coach for basketball, baseball, softball , track, swimming, wrestling, tennis, etc. Not saying S&C isn’t the problem for some…but need to look at all factors involved. Not just one aspect of the process.

Yes parents were yelling. And it got loud at the end. No one was escorted out by police. I watched the entire scenario go down. I don’t condone the behavior of parents yelling. But no one was escorted out by police. The AD and Principal had it under control and the person left on their own. The police did walk over to the AD and principal after the situation was taken care of.

Sorry there was no penalty for 12 men on field. I was told that is what coach Bragg was arguing after the blocked FG.

The 12 men on field penalty..what I was told coach Bragg was arguing. I don’t have access to film so I can’t be sure. You are probably correct if you watched film. The PI I’m referring to was on the last drive by JC with about a minute to go or less. Pass over the middle. Two FC safeties hit receiver as he attempted to catch ball. ball was knocked out of his hands. Looked like a bang bang play. Again I don’t have access to film so I don’t have a play number. I didn’t make mention of the injuries last week before my pick….because I didn’t know they were out until game time. I agree this site has been a good site for years. Use to get on here and just read comments. But then decided to start commenting. Probably should go back to that! I’ll admit I was probably wrong on the 12 men on field deal. Friday night I was a little hyped up because that FC team has lost 3 really close games. Seymour on last second TD BNL last second FG JC last second FG FK stated the lack of effort from the boys and I just don’t see it that way. They are In every game and competing. Just some real tough losses for the team. I really try not to blame someone or others. Especially the kids, coaches and now strength coaches are being brought into it. Just don’t understand that. Football is a game that has inherent injuries. Unfortunately the injury bug has bit this FC team this year. A lot of talent on that team when everyone is healthy. The 2 OLB had some type injuries from last Friday. Only the starting MLB was in tonight. One of the OLB was the TB as well. The other one played one of TE positions. Bad loss, but, unfortunately this team has had some injuries to key players. But, have to play with what the players you have available. Next man up! I just don’t like questioning kids who put multiple hours in every week to play on Friday nights. Yes this generation may not be like yours. But they still work!

Also, not to mention, we had two of our three starting linebackers out, and we were on our fourth string running back.

Since you’re such good friends with Bragg now, why don’t you ask him about the late calls in the game? Instead of blaming the players.

Easy to block a FG with 12 men on the field. Easy to score late on a phantom PI call. Floyd got home schooled.

To be clear I’m not blaming a coach either. But definitely wouldn’t blame players. But I just listened on the radio and wasn’t there to witness. Even so, I still wouldn’t question 15-18 year olds efforts.

So…you introduce yourself to coach JB last week and you say you will tone it down on here about blaming coaching. And now you you start blaming the effort of the players? Interesting!! Maybe run more of the playbook instead of the same 5-6 plays. #CE #9 #HMS #NAPA

@Bobrefthanks for the clarification. That would make sense. His fouls were not from “physical play”. I believe they were called for “verbal” alterations.

From my view of the situation…I could see (not hear) him jawing at the Floyd players and received a flag for that. He then turned and said a few things and was being very animated towards the official for throwing the flag. At that point the official threw another flag and he was then ejected. It seem He was pretty frustrated during that second half of the game.

Read in the local paper that the Jeffersonville RB who was ejected last week at Floyd game appealed his suspension. They are now allowing him to play against Silver Creek tonight. Wonder what the basis of the appeal was and how that got overturned?
