  1. I compared hudl roster from 2024-2025 to this years roster that is posted, I was just curious if other schools numbers are low as well. My son is a freshman at Warsaw, they have had some concerns if opposing teams would have enough enrollment in football to have a freshman schedule. I looked at their max preps roster and definitely more players on there than on the hudl roster, not sure which one would be accurate. 2025-2026 Roster - https://fan.hudl.com/usa/in/akron/organization/16774/tippecanoe-valley-high-school/team/33381/boys-varsity-football/roster?ss=2025 2024-2025 Roster - https://fan.hudl.com/usa/in/akron/organization/16774/tippecanoe-valley-high-school/team/33381/boys-varsity-football/roster?ss=2024
  2. Curious how the rest of the state numbers are for football this year, TV just updated their hudl roster. Last season they rostered 85 kids, this season a total of 50 kids: Last Season 24-25 - 23 Freshmen, 24 Sophomores, 20 Juniors, 18 Seniors This Season 25-26 - 12 Freshmen, 14 Sophomores, 11 Juniors, 13 Seniors Big drops from year to year in regard to the sophomore and junior classes, could this be related to other area teams not fielding freshmen teams so those kids don't see game snaps? Seems odd the number of kids dropping out, what's the scoop from death valley?
  3. What's the word around the INSC? Jimtown and Knox still the clear favorites to win the conference in 2025? I was at the Warsaw scrimmage last evening, had a chance to take a look at Tippy. Looks to be a revamped offensive scheme, however QB play is their weakest link yet again this year. They have several athletes, with speed and strength however the QB room (not very deep) not being able to get the playmakers the ball will be there Achilles heal. Also a much smaller roster than years past for the Vikings, talking with parents in the stands it appears several players including a QB was not happy with the coaching staff. With the new transfer rules, it will be interesting if Rochester, Triton, or even Warsaw is able to land a few of the athletes.
  4. TV has to have the worst athletic department in the conference, one of the reasons to coming to the new conference was to gain media exposure for their programs and student athletes. Yet can't find a livestream of the game from Friday night, with that being said listened to the radio broadcast after our Fairfield game and I was surprised that the freshman QB and RB for Glenn had as much success as they did. Glenn led late in this game, until Valley went on a nice run of their own. Congrats to Jimtown and Knox on great seasons and should have the most success in the post season for the conference.
  5. Jimtown 14 Valley 0 As I've said all year, stop valley's run and you beat them as it showed tonight. Jimtown absolutely wore down Valley using the ground game all 2nd half. Valley's QB play came back to haunt them yet again tonight with 2 fumbles lost and several bobbled snaps and hand offs all night. If Valley stands a shot at a sectional title, they better find a QB in a cornfield down south. Welcome to the INSC maybe the TRC would give you a refund to come back to the conference.
  6. Bremen @ Glenn - Glenn takes care of business at home LaVille @ Knox - Knox wins big with the ground attack Valley @ Jimtown - Jimmies come out on top in a closer game than most think. I think the Jimmies will wear down TV with their depth and toughness.
  7. Nothing personal just calling it as I see it as an outsider, TV has depth from what I see at all 3 levels (Freshman, JV, and Varsity). As seen all year long, valley has no Quarterback game and when teams stop the run as Knox did, Laville did for 2 quarters...they will be beat. The QB running game is not working for TV 10 carries for 13 yards is not efficient, if they find a passing game they will find success in the post season. The sectional is lining up to be a battle as we see West Noble and Garrett both sitting a top both undefeated. Until then they are just like the Cubs, better luck next year. Looking forward to catching the Jimtown vs TV game on hudl, should be an old school feel to this game. My falcons head to Angola to face off for last place in the conference should be a decent game.
  8. Same goes for the coach over at Valley, arrogant (just watch the way he conducts himself on film) and failure to put kids in a position to succeed...If you're old man played at valley, your dad is a sponsor, or your friends with coaches kids you will play. So much talent in that program Senior - Freshman to not compete in the big games when it actually matters or even not having 8-9 kids playing both ways. All the talk about how great the program is yet, no sectional title since 1992???

  10. Bremen at Jimtown - Give me the Jimmies by 21 Glenn at Knox - I'll take Knox by 28, 49-21 Valley at Laville - I think the Lancers come out and try to stop the run early however Valley's size may wear them out. Closer than the experts think but I'll take valley 21-17
  11. As I've said all year, Valley is only as good as their running game dictates. Shut down the run and valley has no other options, passing they were 3-14 combined between both QBs. Even the 3 passes that were caught were all desperation heaves that quite frankly should have been either intercepted or knocked down. From watching their scrimmage against Fairfield, their best QB throwing the ball is a freshman, not sure their coaches philosophy on playing freshman but the kid could sling the ball a little bit as we saw. Will be interesting to see how the Vikings try and create a passing game as we all saw what happened when a team can stop the run. Valley constantly plays 8-9 guys 2 ways, which we saw Knox wear them down quickly. With the numbers that valley has, they need to show some more depth defensively especially on the D-Line. Great win by Knox, could possibly setup a regional matchup between our Falcons and their Redskins.
  12. Jimtown @ Glenn - Jimtown by 14, Jimtown being battle tested early in the season helps. Laville @ Bremen - Bremen by 21, passing attack with Laidig at the helm and lack of defensive backfield for Laville makes it a long night for the Lancers. Valley @ Knox - Knox by 7, battle of the trenches. Valley's predictability will hurt them in this game, along with the lack being able to throw the ball on 3rd down will haunt the Vikes. Valley will be outcoached in this matchup as I look for Knox to come out early with some adjustments not seen on film to date.
  13. Wow the IFCA has spoken, Vikings win again (Have not lost a regular season game in the past 2 years) yet they drop out of the top 15 in 3A. Another disaster at QB for TV 0-1 with their sophomore running the offense. 2 fumbles by the young kid, 1 of which was a missed snap and ran in for a touchdown by their center. Looking ahead at the juggernaut which is the INSC, the leader of the pack will need to find their passing game to be able to compete. This is probably the softest and lack of effort team that Valley has had in recent years to say the least. With the size of Valley's roster, Should be no reason why they are running 8-9 players on both sides of the ball.
  14. Glad to see the vikings pull it out all on the ground attack, wore down Rochester. Still cannot throw the football down the field, #16 is clearly a running QB but his arm will hurt him against Jimtown and Glenn. #6 threw 2 picks, clearly need to figure out the QB play and at times their DL was over matched by rochester. Their freshman class is by far the best class out of the 4, at some point going to have to give the younger guys a shot if you want to win the conference.
  15. Rochester up 12-0 after 1...as I mentioned early shut down the run and valley can be beat. Rochester is dominating on run defense, valley has tried passing and thrown 3 picks already in the 1st quarter. Things need to change at Death Valley to compete in the new conference
  16. I had an opportunity to watch Tippy in their scrimmage against Fairfield, there weakness will be there passing game all year. Their JR and SO Quarterbacks cannot throw the football down field as well as had several fumbled snaps. If you stop the counter action they run with their wings, you have a chance to beat them. Their best Quarterback is a Freshman (From the Scrimmage threw a 30 yard TD pass), We played him in baseball for a few years and the kid is an athlete. I look for Glenn and Knox to come out on top of the INSC in year #1, but don't sleep on the Vikings freshman class coming up in the next few years.
