It all depends on the browser. Chrome is a lot better at saving situations like that. Edge/Explorer is not.
More than a couple clicks later and it's gone in both. Can this profile stuff be turned off?

did you re enter the thread you were in? sometimes it will re appear that way.
I did. I returned to the thread after I answered the required profile info and nothing was there. Not a big deal. It was just irritating after I wrote out a paragraph or two and didn’t get to submit it.

Apologies to those forced to enter the same info more than once while I am setting up features.
Is it possible to recover something that had been typed in the reply field? I had written a response to a post and was about to click submit when the page changed to some garbage about updating my profile. I tried clicking back and nothing was there.

It will depend on who is selected for the alignment committee. All it takes is one AD or administrator that wants to stack the deck in their favor or remove a school from their tournament path for as long as possible. Geography and logical groupings are often secondary to selfish motives.

I would expect 33 to be placed in 5A in advance of the Elkhart consolidation and them to be placed in a 5-team sectional.
That would bring BNL up into the equation.
This is what I came up with
9: LaPorte, Munster, Michigan City, SB Adams
10: Elkhart Central/Memorial, Concord, Goshen, Mishawaka,
11: Dwenger, North, Northrop, Snider
12: Anderson, Harrison, Kokomo, McCutcheon
13: Decatur Central, Plainfield, New Palestine, Whiteland
14: BNL, Bloomington N/S, Franklin
15: Castle, Ev. North, THN, THS
16: Floyd Central, Jeff, New Albany, SeymourThere will be 34 teams in 5A as long as Hammond Noll and Wood Memorial express their intention to play. I don’t think Trinity Lutheran is going to play, but if they did, then Greenfield-Central would move up to 5A giving that class 35 teams.

Based on Coach Jackson's List above here is my stab at 5A sectionals. North is pretty tricky on who to put with the Lafayette Schools and Kokomo. It really comes down to Munster or FW North. I went with FW North Here.
Sectional 9 Sectional 10 Sectional 11 Sectional 12 Munster Mishawaka Goshen FW North Michigan City Elkhart Central FW Northrop Kokomo LaPorte Elkhart Memorial FW Dwenger Harrison WL SB Adams Concord FW Snider McCutcheon Sectional 13 Sectional 14 Sectional 15 Sectional 16 Anderson Decatur Central Seymour Terre Haute North New Pal Plainfield Floyd Central Terre Haute South Whiteland Bloomington North New Albany Evansville North Franklin Bloomington South Jeffersonville Castle Coach was missing 2 teams from his 5A list. Huntington North and BNL.

Posting this topic as one where users can make their guesses on what the new 6A sectional alignments will be. Here is what I would propose:
Sectional 1: Crown Point, Lake Central, Merrillville, Portage
Sectional 2: Chesterton, Penn, Valparaiso, Warsaw
Sectional 3: FW Carroll, Fishers, Hamilton Southeastern, Homestead
Sectional 4: Carmel, Lafayette Jefferson, Noblesville, Westfield
Sectional 5: Lawrence Central, Lawrence North, North Central, Warren Central
Sectional 6: Avon, Brownsburg, Pike, Zionsville
Sectional 7: Arsenal Tech, Ben Davis, Perry Meridian, Southport
Sectional 8: Center Grove, Columbus East, Columbus North, Franklin Central
That is the exact alignment I posted for 6A before the forum crashed when I posted the numbers from the DOE back in November.

Got both Boone Grove & Eastern (Greentown). Actually added in a non football school. This time I ended up with exactly 320 playoff eligible teams for the next two years. Am I correct on that?
Hammond Bishop Noll, Wood Memorial, and Trinity Lutheran are all IHSAA tournament eligible and have played football in recent seasons. Trinity looks like it will not play, so they most likely will not be included in the upcoming classification and sectional alignment for 2019-20 and 2020-21. Bishop Noll and Wood Memorial are the 2 that would need to express their intentions to play in either year of the next cycle. If they plan to play, even if it is only 2020-21, then they will be included in the classification and sectional alignment. I would imagine both will plan to play so they can be included in the alignment, which will mean 322 football teams. 32 in 6A, 34 in 5A, and 64 in 4A-1A. That means Bedford NL and Huntington North will be added to your 5A list, Yorktown and Danville move up to 4A, South Vermillion and F.W. Luers to 3A, and Taylor to 2A. Add Noll to 2A and Wood Memorial to 1A.

Who are the largest schools NOT playing football?

Switz County - 406
South Ripley - 379
Southwestern (Hanover) - 374
South Knox - 361
Wapahani - 360
I'm not sure about a lot of the charter schools around the state, like Lighthouse, for instance.
There are 2 schools larger than Burris without football. Indianapolis Herron - 889 students, and Gary Lighthouse - 578 students.
Could Hammond become a future powerhouse?
