  1. Been rough for sure, especially last year. This year there's only 1 win but they've been MUCH more competitive minus the 1st game of year, the offensive numbers this year compared to last year are WAY better  and lets not forget the ICC is a VERY strong conference, plus add Linton to it. We lost on the road to Linton 42-36 i think it was, we lost at home to Triton Central 33-20 and if you take off the pick-6 it was 26-20, lost at 4A Beech Grove 29-14 and had our chances to score in that game and shot ourselves in the foot with TO's,  I think we finally have the right coach in place, Coach Olson was here for many years including the great run we had in 2014, 2015, 2016. Monrovia was always known for how well we ran the ball, but what was about as impressive was how physical those teams were, you didn't see Monrovia pushed around up front on either side of the ball, last year and this year it's been hard to watch us get blown off the ball on both sides of the ball. There is some nice young talent here as well, i think the future is bright with Coach Olson at the reigns, just gotta push threw these rough times.

I honestly don't know what to expect.  My questions would be can North Putnam slow down the Webo Offense?  Can Webo slow down the NP passing attack?

I would say the answer to those 2 questions are no to the first and yes to the 2nd.  NP is improved but not on WeBo's level, i see this as 43-20 for WeBo..

Any predictions on this game? I actually don’t have a score prediction, but I do think SR wins this one. However, I will not be surprised if Linton finds a way to win. Either way I don’t see either team winning by more than 2 TD’s. I do think this Linton group has good potential, but I think it will take a few games before the offense gets in a good groove.

I think with all LInton is bringing back this year and SR losing their QB Linton wins this one 28-17, i like the Miner's this year a lot!

I remember that too as I was the defensive coordinator they broke the record against during the state game.  That was a heckuva offense to try and defend.

You guys did better against us defensively then anybody that year i do believe, i think we had over 300 yds which is still really good, but far below the 429 yds we averaged, maybe the 1st game of the year against Ritter, our biggest rival because we came out flat.  Heck of a team you had in 2015 as well!

  5. With all due respect to Southridge, i think Linton takes it this year, i've gotten to watch Linton a lot over the past several years and i know they return a lot of kids from last year's team, not often you hear that Linton is being slept on, but i think a lot of people are sleeping on them this year, take away injuries and i think Linton will make another deep run this year. Linton will be looking to deal out a lot of pay back for last years down year. Look forward to seeing them when they travel to play Monrovia this year!

Snider is 2-5 against Carmel in past 15 years and 2-5 vs Penn. So IMO that is not very competitive. If they had a record that was closer to .500, I would then say they are or were competitive. Believe me, I love it when they face those two teams,  but they are likely to lose more than they are likely to win in those matchups. Sagarin ratings are just that, a rating, doesn't really mean much.

So if it was 3-4 instead of 2-5, a 1 game difference but really close to the .500 mark you'd say they were competitive? Just a games difference? And it looks like they've has some really good games with Carmel. Seem's pretty competitive to me, just my opinion tho!
