You would think it would apply to football as well, but it is the IHSAA.

How is this stuff done at some of your schools? Do parents have any input? Is community involved to get a feel for what folks want? Do principals and AD’s make unilateral decisions for the school?
No, No, Yes

So this would be the WTAC!!!

I think the GSSC has openings.

hope they still have it, was a great time

Did a little map search on the IHSAA website, I could see a conference form with the following school:
Glenn, Jimtown, Knox, Culver Academy, Bremen, Rochester, Laville, and Winamac. Gives you 7 conference games and 2 for rivalries. 1A schools could form a similar conference.
-
I can see a pretty good conference with Laville, Knox, Bremen, Glenn, Culver Academy, and Jimtown.
-
Knox is not expanding, in fact we are losing enrollment.

I was at New Prairie when they left the NSC, it was a package deal for the NIC to take New Prairie, Glenn, Breman, and Jimtown together. New Prairie wanted to go by themselves, but the other 3 schools convinced them to stay as a group and apply to the NIC together.

Big School (3A/2A) = Knox, Glenn, Bremen, Laville, Winamac
Small School (1A) = North Judson, Culver, Canton, Triton, Pioneer
4 regular season open weeks to look for new opponents, or keep what you can.

Been hearing about this for a while, not sure if it was true or not. Heard that they would have 2 divisions and play a crossover game in week 9.
-
There is nothing on the website about booking rooms. Only the date and Agenda.

Portage gets Roy Richards.

We did it all season in 2014, even the day before State Finals.
-
We played with the official Wilson Balls. We do not break rules.
-
The true purpose of seeding is to make sure that you have the 2 best individuals (teams) make it to the finals. In your case at Sectional 33 that would mean that Andrean and Laville should be on opposite sides of the bracket and then blind draw the other 6 teams. Most of the time it is easy to figure out who are the 2 best, if there are 3 teams worthy then have the other 5 coaches vote.

I say go a week later like Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois and get rid of the scrimmage. We already scrimmage in the summer. Can still have State on Thanksgiving weekend.

So let me get this right. During the regular season we can use the Team Issue balls unless the other team has Wilson, then we can use theirs. In Sectionals the Team Issue ball can still be used, again unless the other team has Wilson and we can use theirs. In Regionals and Semi State we have to use Wilson. At state, the IHSAA will provide us with game balls. Is this correct?
-
The IHSAA does not provide balls for Sectionals, that is correct. SO if you get that far now you have to switch balls?

That is what I do not understand, why use a different ball than the one you would use come playoff time. Was told that we have this ball and so does our entire conference teams as well.

Just received our order of footballs for the season. They are not Wilson balls, recommend by the IHSAA., but rather a Team Issue ball from the NFHS. Anybody else get these?
-
😂😂😂 If that is all it takes, I have a whole team of freshmen all Americans.

Looks like you took them too early. Most people take them in July.

Fixed classes and rolling success factor in basketball

If you take back to back years for the rolling success factor does that mean that teams will be moved up and down each season? At least with the current 2 year window, you know who is moving up and down in the next alignment.
